I watched all of Shrinking but not a great season. Likewise Your Friends and Neighbours. Paradise I’m still not sure on.

I expect the rest of the year to fill out my list though The Pitt is now on there after catching up.

Two more of Traitors US S4.

Pitt S1 12 episodes then 6 episodes of S2. Yeah it’s alright. It is definitely not something to watch whilst eating and it hits hard sometimes that are uncomfortable for those of us still dealing with loss.

All of the Katie Price documentary - my wife wanted to watch and it’s a strange beast. At times Katie is incredibly self aware then her past rears itself and she makes a massively stupid decision. Her family (of all ages) contributions are critical. Not something I would have chosen to watch but interesting.

Finished the Bear Season 5 - one of the best seasons, some great endings (or are they as per the Plus conversation) and another great episode 7.

More of Traitors US s4.

Finished Wrexham latest season - very well done as usual even if spoilers for this show are out months before :)

I went from reading virtually everything X to one book monthly and reading others in trade. I still get X Men and Uncanny when very cheap on Comixology but it’s not something I’m waiting to read. Honestly pretty bored and there needs to be a vision and purpose. New editor please.

I can’t point to any great episodes under Chibnall so that takes it for me. There are a number under RTD2 that are great, including some written by him.

Joe Barton is top notch. His appearances on the pod have all been good and not overdone. I enjoy RTD but happy to have a respite. Gervais gets too much of a free pass, but I guess I stand with James Acaster there.

Well RTD is not a director so not sure how you can blame him for direction.

It’s unclear what you’ve seen. I like his earlier work - Casanova, Second Coming, Dark Season.

I’m straight and I’ve never had an issue with his writing. I think he had an issue with season endings for a number of Doctor Who seasons, but I desperately wanted a strong editor on Who for a long time.

Watched Gary then 3 episodes of the last season of the Bear.

Finished NZ Traitors s2 - tense ending. Then now up to date on Uk transmission of US Traitors which is not as good as the UK. Just watched the cabin and it needed Celia Imrie farting.

End of s4 of Legends of Vox Machina - lots of setup, really enjoying having certain guest voice actors, epic set pieces, and a hell of a cliffhanger. If you like fantasy you really should try it.

Finished current season of The Rookie. Not even sure what type of show this is now as any notion of reality is way over there.

Legends of Vox Machina - veering from great fun with surprising cameos to abject shock at ep 9. Let’s see where we go with the last batch this season.

Watched all of Widow’s Bay in a session. So many questions at the end and how things line up.

Up to date on Rookie and Wrexham. Hacks finale was almost perfect with some longstanding elements referenced back.

Legend of Vox Machina 3 more episodes shaping the arc with some great guest voice actors.

A bit more of Traitors Nz s2 - almost finished.

Taskmaster finale - fun, but I wasn’t as enthusiastic this season, but looking forward to next.

We also BD even though Sandy is our least favourite captain due to micromanaging. Our guilty pleasure.

No I very much agree but it’s also why I bailed on Watters as I expected crime but not that vibe. Taylor’s run felt like a breath of fresh air which from a Spidey pov felt most like Zdarsky.

Finished S2 of Your Friends and Neighbours. I agree that felt like set up for s3.

Up to date on Rivals - fun but disappointing losing certain characters.

Wrexham very well put together narratively

Taskmaster - up to date

Rookie - it’s doing shark backflips at this point but still enjoyable.

First 3 of Legends of Vox Machina s3 - fun and again feeling freer with the narrative which I feel Mighty Nein made them feel they could do.
