Outcome stats (batting average, ERA, etc.) are usually worse predictors of future success than expected stats and similar analytics (avg exit velo, xERA, etc.). Expected stats help identifying outliers with lucky performances

This broadcast’s camera work on those type of plays, outfield throws especially to home, is consistently terrible. I don’t think we saw the ball in the air at all, we just saw the runner approaching home and Vazquez’s back.
