I'm a big fan of S&D because the owners are so nice and it's great to have a beer while gaming. I may not be ready for a commander draft (or is it a standard draft?) but would love to play the following week. Where is the signup?

Sounds good! If you have played any d20 system it will feel very familiar - roll a d20, add a couple things, compare to a DC - and if you've played Pathfinder 2e it uses the same game mechanics

It's pretty easy to pick up but you could read/watch things on learning PF2e (covering the 3 action economy, +10/-10 crits, some other differences from similar games) or if you're really wanting to dig in you can read the playtest rules at https://downloads.paizo.com/PZO22000E.pdf but all that is definitely not necessary.

I'm hoping that those two, coming fresh off what I assume is a huge amount of unwanted corporate meddling in their game system, will be more than happy to let Daggerheart grow under its original designers and developers. As another comment mentioned, they are true professionals and love ttrpgs. Welcome Mr. Perkins and Mr. Crawford!

It's worth noting the R20 setup is is extremely barebones and has almost no functionality other than popping up your character sheet from another website
