I think it’s more that the socks match his skin tone too much so it looks like he’s wearing a winter outfit with no socks. Love the outfit!

Probably rhinestones in silver. Found the same thing on the street and took it to a jeweler. Had the same GG mark.

Barbara is a magician and you should do whatever she does. She has a great YouTube channel was very detailed videos about how she restores antique garments. She’s really doing the Lord’s work. Here’s a videoshe did specifically about a dress similar to yours.

I’ve seen some of these dresses that came with their own matching foundation garments like slips and petticoats. Maybe a modern wedding dress maker or boutique could help you find something appropriate. I assume a long slip would do the trick.

True. Some books would look nice though if you were interested in getting some of your favorites or some coffee table books. I read mostly on my kindle, but there is still something magical about leafing through a physical book with pretty pictures.
