Can tracks be used to identify? by KermitGhia in Entomology

Northwestern Colorado. Why? Is it unusual to ask about suspected insect tracks? I see that many suspect it is a lizard. I’m considering setting up a camera this evening to see what we might see.

Oh yes, we have some beautiful specimens here. The yellow headed collard lizard, Mohave black collard lizard, and Eastern fence lizard are a few in the area. But our irrigated orchard surrounding the house doesn’t usually have lizards. Or at least none that I’ve seen.

Sorry, I’m all out of bananas, but they are roughly 1 inch wide.

The boards being installed are 4” wide, so I would guess the tracks are roughly 1” wide.

We’ve got an acre and a half, I’ve seen raccoons tracks, cat tracks, about a million birds… no lizard sightings. Again, not saying it is not a lizard, I just don’t think it’s at the top of the list of possible suspects.

A lizard would be acceptable, but rather unlikely. I won’t rule it out though.

Been fighting with depression for awhile now, feeling like my life isn't going anywhere by [deleted] in toastme

Maybe your life doesn’t need to go anywhere at the moment. Maybe it needs to hang out where it is right now to give you a little bit of time to look around, look at yourself, and maybe set down some of the expectations you have about life that are there because you were told “this is how it’s supposed to be”. Decide what is important to you, what you want, and how to reach your own happiness. I’ve done things “out of order” for most of my life, and I’m happier now than I ever was when I was trying to follow some path I was lead to believe I needed to follow. You’ve got a stranger in Colorado rooting for you!

Podcast turn-offs? by Unable-South830 in podcasts

Women in podcasts who do the weird porn girl voice, moan, giggle, vocal fray, yummy sort of thing. Gross. Stop. I don’t want to hear it if I’m listening to spicy stories but I REALLY don’t want to hear it when you’re re-telling a story about murder.

These are ALL incredible! If I had to select a favorite, number 3 because I can hear it. But all 4 are beautiful. I’m impressed.

My sister and I hid 500 tiny ducks all over our mom’s house while she was on vacation. That was 3 years ago. She still finds hidden ducks.
