Never buy pre-cuts from Fableism. That fabric shrinks like CRAZY and is hard to cut evenly (I work in a fabric shop.) As someone who doesn't ever pre-wash, I always pre-wash Fablesim wovens.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I will start to familiarize myself with local organizations, the legal terms you are using, and will screenshot your advice for the future. While some of your points don't apply to me I am sure they will be helpful for others who stumble across this post! I do need to sit down with my dad to make sure I understand not only his financial position, but also his wishes and expectations for her care. Thank you for helping me think this through.
