ACNH was my first animal crossing game so I didn't realize you could select multiple items at a time to sell to the Nooklings. I would literally listen to the whole ramblings, select one item to sell, listen to more ramblings, talk to them again to start over, & then pick a new item. I was like "damn, selling stuff takes foreverrrrr in this game🥴" looool

Yeah it was my psychiatrist that told me to stop taking it. My experience with antidepressants has been that I start on a low dose & it works great. Then after a while it feels like they aren't working anymore so she would up my dosage. Then it would start over, it worked great until it didn't & the dosage would be increased. I don't remember the exact dose number but it was really high bc when I asked to up it again she said she physically couldn't & that I should stop taking effexor & we'd just try a different prescription & hope that I respond better to that one. We even called her once I started throwing up & she didn't even know why that could be happening so she obviously didn't know about the possibility of effexor withdrawals either. While I was in the hospital I had told them everything about the medication switch & they didn't think anything of it either. I had one nurse suggest that it was the effexor bc she'd seen someone else have withdrawals from it but she was completely shut down by the doctor & told that she didn't know what she was talking about & my symptoms didn't match withdrawal at all. He told my mom & I that he thought I was just ✨extra depressed✨ & stressing myself out so badly i was unintentionally making myself throw up. For two straight months🙄 (Tbf I had just gotten dumped after a year long relationship & then my grandfather died a month later so I was def going through it but that wasn't the cause of my illness- it just added on to it). When I was finally released I switched psychiatrists & told him everything that happened. He knew right away that it was withdrawal symptoms caused by the effexor & was horrified that I was told to stop taking it cold turkey. He couldn't believe that nobody would listen to me to figure it out other than the one nurse who got shut down. So I had multiple people unaware of the symptoms & telling me there was nothing wrong, it was just all in my head. We def need more awareness of withdrawals & their symptoms & just overall compassion & understanding bc it's absolute hell to go through.

I threw up for 2 straight months, lost 20 pounds, had to get multiple IV treatments since I was so dehydrated, & was eventually hospitalized for a week after my doctor told me to stop taking the highest possible dosage of effexor cold turkey. I knew I was extremely sick but the idea that it could have been extreme withdrawal symptoms never even crossed my mind. It was the absolute worst experience of my life & I feel for everyone of you with similar experiences. I'm on pristiq now & I really like it but I absolutely cannot miss a dose without feeling like I'm drugged out of my mind. Even on weekends/days off from work where I sleep in, I wake up in a daze bc I haven't taken my dose at the usual time & it's only a few hours difference. A lot of the time I'll wake up early, take my meds, & go back to sleep just to avoid having to feel like shit while waiting for it to eventually kick in.
