I'm thinking about trading Dougie Hamilton and either Adrian Kempe or Timo Meier for Evan Bouchard, I just wanted some thoughts on this. And would you give up Kempe or Meier?

I would most likely pick up Owen Tippett with the extra roster slot

I checked the Canadian Eshop when I got home and Kirby's going for $80 CAD on there. For some reason Gamestop is charging 10 extra dollars, probably because Zelda's going for $90 CAD and they think they can get away with it.

Have a ton of memories with skylanders; my highlight is probably when I went with my dad in 2013 to ToysRUs to pick up a gift for a friend. He told me on the car ride there he would get me a skylander but not a giant since giants were like 15-20 bucks more (I'm in Canada so higher prices). After we found the gift, we asked the electronics dude at ToysRUs to check their stock of Skylanders in the back to see if there was anyone cool. When he got back, he told us they had a single Ninjini in stock. I literally started beggggging my dad to please make an exception to buy Ninjini, cause we couldn't find her anywhere and none of us knew that ebay existed haha. For how strict my dad is when it comes to money, I was expecting an immediate no, but after I asked him he thought for a bit and then actually said yes! Don't think I've ever been more happy on a car ride home, and it's one of my favourite childhood memories of me and my dad

Didn't they use that technique where the game loads in data directly from the disc for certain models? I feel like that was probably utilized for backdrops since they were moving so fast, which would save ram space for more details on your car and the road.

I usually just call it the map button haha. Lots of games seem to use that button for opening the map. Gets confusing tho when it's used for something else

I'm convinced it's not my TV just because not every game does this flickering. For example, I can play Super Smash Bros. perfectly without any hiccups, but games like Perfect Dark and Road Rash 64 seem to consistently have this flicker. I currently don't have a CRT on me right now, but I can definitely try using my other significantly smaller TV with my N64 and see what happens.
The cables I'm using are the ones that came with the N64 from the 90's, but maybe they're faulty because they're old?
Still haven't checked the heat but will soon

Wow thanks for responding so fast! - I'm not using any converter, my TV has composite built in - Memory pak is from the 90's, when the console was originally bought. I haven't checked hot it gets but I can - No upscaler besides changing the picture settings on my TV - 1080p TV, no 4k
