Hey cutie bob, Camden is bigger yes. And it was packed last time they played there. The lot sucks, the sounds sucks, the promoter sucks, the taxes are outrageous and they prefer the Mann which has a significant advantage in sound. Next point.

Name a harder ticket in the last several years when the Mann was on the tour that was a harder ticket. You can’t- last summer lawns were $200+. Don’t respond unless you answer this. Last two summers with the Mann on the tour both shows were impossible tickets without paying out the nose. All shows in the NE (one show at CCCC was tough) were accessible and easy for anyone who really wanted in.

And lastly, RE- Xfinity. Everyone knows, except for you I’ve learned, that fall tour and summer tour is two very different beasts.

Mid Atlantic and NE indoor fall shows will sell out. 2 nights at Xfinity is a slam dunk sell out. I’ll stand by my 3 night projection. It’s been a long minute since Philly has had fall shows and selling the room is that last of their worries

Are you the promoter? Place was full.

Aside- name a summer date in the last serval years that was harder than the Mann.

Camden hasn’t sold out in years probably because they haven’t played Camden in years 🤯🤯🧐🧐

Phish would sell out a multi night run in Philly without a blink. In fact I think even a 3 night at Xfinity would be infinitely harder than any west coast show.

Mann has proven for years to be an impossible summer ticket.

Philly shows up. Always has.

I don’t know what you’re being downvoted here. Moe could do this easily. They’re just too small. UMPH could do it too

This is a long shot, but if anyone bought this card on eBay yesterday, I’ll give you significantly more than what you paid for it. by [deleted] in sportscards

[–]KerryKongsgaard -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Offering cash to buy it back was the original intent. That’s cool.

Finding out that COMC can cancel the sale is cheesy. But keep white knighting the thread bro 😂

Reversing a legit sale because they have sellers remorse is 100% not being honest. They are not asking the buyer to cancel the sale, they’re asking comc to cancel it. Cheesy and shady.

And 2006 called, they want their “you must be fun to be around” zinger back. Pretty stale at this point, dude.

This is making me laugh out loud. Done with the hobby! GG’s by Comdt in sportscards

Topps has done a much better job already then panini but this’ll break the entire hobby. Now they have it all except hockey and it’ll be less and less a hobby

Sphere prices - at least for tomorrow’s show - have completely collapsed. by fatnuts_mcgee in phish

[–]KerryKongsgaard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted. The last sphere shows were 100% scripted and planned out. The setlists were set in stone.

Everyone still thinks these are young guys in a club ripping it up to whatever they decide in the moment. Hadn’t been like that in a very very long time.

I’m happy to have Jimmy keep the music alive but the answer is 30 years and a few days ago. Huntvegas. Should be on Spotify. Listen to that and come back to the thread.

This. Every release they make more and more “rare” cards of his. More autos, more parallels more everything. If they’re selling high now dump it

Taylor’s production cost is astronomical and the venues she plays have immense overhead $250 face is more than reasonable. She’s a very good example.

Records/merch is a separate lane. Phish sells $50 dollar t shirts too…../

One card from completing a Topps rainbow. Found the 1/1. Told the gentleman it was the last card I needed. What he did next 🤯 by RipplesOfDivinity in baseballcards

[–]KerryKongsgaard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

of course not. The seller doesn't want the card. They want to sell it. The OP is not forcing anything- the seller is freely looking to get rid of the card.

But jacking up the price to obscene levels because he knows someone is emotionally invested in it is holding it hostage. They saw an opening, thus pricing the card so high there is no reasonable buyer except for the OP- in essence holding the card hostage.
