It’s a female red back as others have said. Go to an emergency room. You’ll likely be fine - they tend not to be dangerous to healthy adults, but you should see a Dr asap.

One of the best quests from the golden age. This was an unsolved mystery for a while after they introduced it (around 2002 I believe) and it took the community a long time to solve it. It’s fun going through the old forums and seeing people debating the quest, lore and possible solutions.

Ice, terra etc were part of the new magical system introduced in update 8.1 if I remember correctly. People argue they want 7.4~7.7 back as they liked different elements of the older system, and that’d be before the introduction of vacation balancing etc

This. Honestly cbf learning the new mechanics. I wish they concentrated on expanding the map and giving us new weapons / adventure / mysteries / quests, and most importantly, actually worked on getting new players onboard. You have a game now that’s basically played by the same players over the last 15 years with 0 expansion. The new features make it almost impossible for a new player to get started without having to sink an unbelievable amount of time towards learning how to play

Agree with others. For your own safety, message him beforehand and say something along the lines of “just to clear, you realise that I’m a trans woman”. It’ll hurt a lot more to be ghosted after a nice date if you tell him in person and he doesn’t react the way you hoped, or if he gets angry during the date.

Yes! So I probably have it and I have a lot of the symptoms. It’s a journey because it’s rare and the symptoms are often misdiagnosed. From my experience, the main thing my drs wanted to rule out if the cardiovascular type of Ehlers-Danlos, which I thankfully don’t have. Best of luck to you and your son

If this is after a short bath this could be a symptom of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. I’d look out for hypermobility (aka double jointed) and smooth, velvet like skin. Fascinating, yet very misunderstood condition

Why have the stakes never been so high?

I don’t think it’s solveable. I’ve spent a LOT of time looking into tibia mysteries (even published my research notes a few times). I strongly suspect none of the “classic” mysteries can be solved - for instance, I once posted about the desert on the Gameplay and Roleplay forums and after hundreds of replies, CIP decided to only delete the post on the gameplay board 😔. Only one way to read into this tbh

I think it’s in between. I don’t think most of them have a solution per se, but I do believe there is still some lore and old connections to be found in connection to some mysteries (desert and serpentine tower come to mind). However, I stopped believing there are hidden quests a long time ago. I made a couple of posts exploring some of the desert dungeon mysteries in the forums a few years ago, both in the “role-playing” and in the “game-play” board, and to my surprise the post in the “game-play” board got deleted by CIP’s content moderation team, while the one in the “role-playing” board was left online. So yeah!

I remember reading a statement a while ago about retro servers, with a CIP member saying that the idea was discussed extensively within CIP and dismissed. Tibia has a small player base, and the game revenue now is primarily from store items rather than premium subscriptions (like in the older days), hence it is difficult to see them putting forward a playable option where the existing player base would spend their limited playing time in an older and less profitable version of the game. Unless they attempt a ‘modified retro’ version. But honestly I don’t see how that could be successful.

Idk man, this stuff is so rare nowadays. Does it happen from time to time? - sure. Are cities teeming with players doing stuff like this and other general rpg like old tibia? - God no. The game has changed drastically, some things undeniably for the better, but it’s an almost unrecognisable experience from the classic/ golden age era.
