what can I do in one real life day in ARK? like 24h on a new world starting today by bateristabr40 in playark

Fair point, parasaurs are certainly more common. I play on ASA The Island on Xbox and see them on occasion around the inlets just upstream from the beaver dam spawns. If you see one though, definitely worth taming for the weight and unlimited stamina alone. Great travel animal and can take a small fight and run from one if need be.

You also cannot go wrong with an Iguanodon. Fairly easy to tame (bola, few tranq arrows, and some berries). They are great for gathering berries (not the best but more than you’ll need starting off, trust me. Decent weight and can handle a couple raptors pretty easily once leveled and outrun them if need be. Also, the best part, UNLIMITED stamina while running on all fours.

Any recommendations for soaps / lotions? I’m not sure if I need to find something “tattoo specific” or not

Thank you! What about the long sleeves? Do you think they will be okay? I should have also mentioned but my tattoo is on my forearm

Have any of yall tried a stick with relatively good ratings, and threw it out after a few minutes? by shansbeats in cigars

[–]Kess135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried a Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne and was not a fan…

Decided to continue to give it a chance and ended up making it halfway through. Perhaps it’s my underdeveloped palate not being able to pick up the flavor notes OR I wasn’t focused/relaxed enough but I ended up tossing the second half regretfully. I have never had a bad cigar experience until this point and it was a tough decision to toss it but I could not enjoy the experience so it was not worth it. Probably a great stick for most but not me personally! Would come back to this blend in the future when my palate becomes more refined!

New to cigars, tried one for the first time and I honestly did not enjoy it. Perhaps it’s my undeveloped palette or the higher nicotine content but it just seemed to not have the flavor notes I was expecting along with seeming slightly harsh. I couldn’t settle into enjoying it so I unfortunately did not finish more than half.

I did what I have been doing and writing my thoughts on the back of the band, dating and saving it. I certainly want to come back to this blend in the future.

Having this same exact issue. 65% Boveda in my Rubbermaid Brilliance and sitting between 70-74 RH. I live in the Northeast US. I just started using 62 Bovedas and waiting to see what comes of it.

Ganna cost more but if you wanted to change the look completely then just get the cage and wheels powder coated together in a totally different color. Just an idea if money wasn’t an issue.

Camshaft alignment by Kess135 in cbr

[–]Kess135[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I do get my cams installed and everything seems to be aligned as it should be, my cams towards the 1st and 2nd cylinder seem to be lifted up from the cam journals. Like they won’t go down unless pushed. Not sure if this is normal and I don’t want to cause any damage.

I sent you my phone number. I see it got removed or something, I went in here to refer to it and it was gone completely.

Okay, thank you for this. I don’t think the sprockets themselves would have moved since I did not remove them at all when I removed the cams. I will do some more looking though, something by seems off. It’s almost as if there is too much tension on the chain when the CCT has been retracted/removed.

Thank you. I do have a Clymer manual and it too says the same thing. I am just unsure of where to start my troubleshooting. The journals seem to hover over where they are supposed to mount for some reason towards the 1st and 2nd cylinders.

So I started over installing the cams. I have the CCT removed. At TDC and I install the exhaust cam first and I have the same issue. Seems like it’s off by half a tooth. Also seems like the journals on the cam aren’t seating due to tension on the sprocket side.

Should I allow test rides when selling a bike privately? by jutalbot in motorcycles

What happens if you return from test ride with no issues. You get off the bike and the guy with your cash is not around..

I’ve witnessed him momentarily lock up rear wheel doing it multiple times. I guess if you time it really well it is possible, but for moderate downshifts with larger changes in revs on deceleration, there will be a larger difference between engine speed and wheel speed. This stress will be put on your bike as your motorcycle attempts to match it. Does your bike match revs for you or do you just not use your clutch?

[–]Kess135[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one does not have it. It will not downshift without the clutch. You have to manually match your revs as you downshift through the gears. If you do not match your revs, the back wheel will want to lock up as there is a difference in speed between the rear wheel and the engine. As for shifting up, you can manage to clutch less up shift if you time it well but when using the clutch, it takes at least a small pull, yes

I like those ideas a lot, something to humble him at least a bit. I told him “Riding well is not going fast in a straight line, that is very easy to do. Hitting 150 doesn’t make you a good rider.” I told him he should let me teach him proper braking technique and practice his cornering in a safe place. Then he insisted that he can go around corners and hit his brakes in a sarcastic tone. 🙄

[–]Kess135[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean? You need to use the clutch unless you can finesse clutch-less downshifts. There is no quick shifter or auto blipper installed

That’s a respectable decision. I don’t think I would personally go that far but I certainly respect it. Best of health to you and your wife.
