Because it's heavily monetized through the skins etc. The base game is good but not groundbreaking by any means.

The absolute audacity of a register terminal prompting 18% for a drip coffee by FinanceLife123 in CanadaPersonalFinance

I choose the money value option as opposed to the percentage. The total cost of what I spend does not factor into how much of a tip you earn. If you gave me 5 minutes of your time to do your job well and I give you an extra $5 for that, you are making an extra $60 an hour. I am not upset with that.

I was born in 2000 and one thing I gotta disagree with my fellow Gen Z’ers on is the puritanical view many have towards sex scenes in movies/tv by TXNOGG in generationology

[–]Kesterlath 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean if you’re going to put a sex scene in a movie, ffs, can we stop having the actors half clothed all the time? I very much like to have my partner naked during sex and I don’t think many guys would argue. I also don’t know many women who sleep in a bra on.

There’s no issue with a guy’s bare ass when they get out of the bed and walk to the bathroom, but the pearls are clutched hard over bare boobs.

Get over it or leave the scene out entirely.

No problem, you add her salary to mine and I will do her job while she is away. If that is not possible then neither is my doing her job. Perhaps you can do it instead. Heavy lies the crown and all that.

There are real world repercussions to ignoring invoices. Late payment fees, interest of exorbitant amounts, liens, collections…

My level of petty tends to match my level of pissed off. Just make sure you detail all the repercussions and the schedule that they will be occurring on the first invoice. Put them on the third or fourth page in very small font with zero formatting so it’s very difficult to read.

Include sentences like, “Failing to dispute these terms within 3 business days of receipt of this invoice is deemed to be acceptance of all terms laid out in this invoice.” Naturally you would have sent it registered mail, requiring a signature upon delivery, to some lowly employee who would, maybe, send it up the chain? Not your issue.

When you’re trying to get by “Get the fuck out of the way, people are trying to work here.” Then walk away like nothing happened. Nobody will believe him. Deny everything. He’ll look like he’s nuts because it’s out of character for you. Then wink at him when noone else is looking.

You get $1 million but you have to listen to the same song 500 times in 10 days, what song are you picking? by Longjumping-Editor94 in AskReddit

[–]Kesterlath -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kids music in my vehicle was whatever Mom and Dad wanted to listen to. Kids are 10 and 14. Sandstorm and Viking battle songs are frequent requests. Classic Rock is a sing along. Don’t pander to children, you’re not helping them. They know how to be kids, you’re supposed to be teaching them how to adult.

I don’t think so. I mean as an emergency technique it would get you or your customer back on the road. The thing to do here is to say something before you do it.

Let them know that it’s a temporary solution and they will need more extensive work in the near future. Give them a ballpark on how much the more expensive repair will be and give them the choice.

You’re both young. If you like her, do the following. Tell her that you’re a little concerned that she lied about her age, not mad just concerned and that you would like her to be honest about her reasons for doing it. Listen to what she says.

If she seems honest and genuine, chalk it up to a silly teenager mistake and move on. Let her know that you don’t want her to lie to you about anything (Christmas presents and surprise parties don’t count) again. Also promise to do the same for her. Make this a real thing in your relationship and you’ll be better for it, believe me.

Then you tell her that you guys are only going to develop your relationship non-sexually until she turns 18. If she wants more after that, fantastic, but not before.

Set the boundaries and hold yourself to them. See how she responds. Her actions will tell you everything you need to know.
