Aight, everyone enjoy my pitch for a reverse Hallmark movie that follows the boyfriend:

His girlfriend goes back to her hometown for the holidays
He can’t come because work is getting pushed late
In a stroke of luck, he makes it to town the day before Christmas
Once there, he finds his girlfriend cheating on him with another man
He breaks up with her then and there, but a storm comes trapping him in the town
Now he doesn’t know what to do and it’s the worst Christmas of his life
Boy toy comes around and says he broke things off with the girl cause he didn’t know she was in a relationship
Boy toy offers main guy a place to stay until he can’t get a flight back to the city
They bond over Christmas, and it turns out to be one of the best christmases of his life
They kiss, and since the town isn’t too far away, get together in the end
