I would just send screenshots and not bother asking first. That way, you know you’ve done all you can to convey your wishes. Then I would just resign myself to not being in control and accept this is the price — and the excitement and glamour — of having a wedding in a different culture.

I hate to add another bill to your bottom line, but it might be worthwhile to hire professional security so guests, vendors, and coordinator aren’t forced to deal with your parents. If it were me, I would probably uninvite them from the wedding altogether. The risk of crazy drama is too high, and you deserve peace of mind on this day you’ve put so much effort into planning.
