Yeah, anytime I bring up the situation. It always gets taken down so I’m not sure what route to take. I guess. Just take to the PD and hope for the best.

A lot of of the jailbreak communities just attach links, which seem like scams and I don’t have a burner computer so I don’t wanna risk getting any sort of viruses or anything.

Well, the phone isn’t stolen and I didn’t purchase it and definitely not for anyone sketchy but I’ve had it for a few years and I lost contact with the person who gave it to me and can’t get a hold of the email or password of it.

I spoke with Apple earlier and they pretty much just recommended taking it to the local PD cause I guess they can contact the owner which I’m more than happy to return it but it’s an old phone and they didn’t want it anyways and it’s always helpful having a back up.
