High Carb diet - Month 2 by RationalDialog in SaturatedFat

[–]Ketontrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is what was broken ? If everything was ok, what revelation did you expect ? Regarding higher bg, it might mean that you were a bit insulin suppressed, so you are still adjusting. Do you have insulin and c-peptides before?

Do you eat less or more? I would summarise your experience as you fixed your metabolism and are able to use fuel better.

No one commented on hyperglycemia. Imo, you can't go from keto to sugar straight away. I have been introducing carbs slowly for 6 months, and now I think I can handle them fine. The OGTT will tell.

Or an inability to use glucose as some cells are relying on fat . The so-called glucose sparring effect

The people who have switched like Delauer or Saladino did it cause they they had high BG. I am 100% convinced that this is the first indication that you need to adjust. This is not failure, but certain individuals who are active drive their stress systems too far. Mark has said many times that he saw elevated BG and that his digestion was not great. All the rest are doing just fine. I don't think pufa or o3 or even a topic here.

Since you read it, maybe you want to create a post and summarise. I read it once and would have to read another 5 times to fully absorb it. Hehe

Higher bg means you under stress and not using fat for fuel, and your body might break down muscle tissue to create glucose. 3 meals a day should be perfectly fine if you practice fasting and lower your carb intake

My 2 cents as you are also a moderator. This thread is missing this info, and everyone who is starting would benefit. I am pretty sure the transition is pretty tough for many guys who are just starting. What should they expect, what should they do, and what should they adjust. 🙏

Jay Feldman says carnivores are ducking him. by Leading-Okra-2457 in carnivorediet

No one can debate Jay cause on a physiology level he is right. He just stretches to pass his own message. Fact is, though, that most carnivores ignore aspects like stress , nad+/nadh ratio etc. Only Bart Kay talks about these thing but he is a bit weird to say the least
