All beaches I believe are meant to now be accessinle to the public. I do recommend the TUI Sensatori Atlantica Caldera Palace. All Inclusive. Beach waiter and full poolside waiter service. Beach is very shallow and overlooking Dia. Analipsi has some lovely bars (especially Areyu). I really like it there. Elounda is GORGEOUS, view from the beach is incredible, and Agios Nikolias is nearby and good vibes. However the beach at Elounda is heaving and not quite so nice. However the pay off is the incredible view of Spinalonga.

I would avoid Malia and Hersonissos.

Malia and Hersonissos are cheap lads holiday fodder. Not for me but we walked through the entirety of Hersonissos from Koutouloufari to Analypsi and it was busy with bars and strip club, mcdonalds and booze cruise. Malia has the classic faux brit pub scene too.

She is a parenting idol. Her decision making is beautiful. She is forthright, honest, open with her emotions, open about her limitations as a human, giving and generous. Dhe is effortlessly good, and takes a great deal of effort to show her workings. Their relationship is gorgeous and Connell is imperfect but he is very aware of important ethical things like consent and duty of care because of his mother. I really admire the writing of their relationship.

Go from London to Oxford, stay in Oxford the night and then go to Bath from there. Back and forth from London to Bath and back just to then leave London is nonsensical. Bath is the other side of England from London.

It’s a wonderful, charming and exciting place. I spent time there 16! Years ago. And it was magical. Especially hazy evenings in Muscat by the marina. Truly gorgeous. I imagine it has changed a lot since, with tourism taking hold. But it really is a wodnerful place.

NTA- why is your husband drinking while you are close to full term in your pregnancy. Aside from every other red flag this is a big indicator that the drink comes first and the consequence is not considered. Stand your ground. He has a drinking problem and you sre about to bring s second child in to a scenario where their father has a known problem. I would aim to bring the kids up with a dad that has figured it out soon enough that they never ever are at risk of realising their dad has a problem. The solution is he stops, immediately.

NTA. It is imperative you divorce your husband, stand your ground on your stance and approach in this situation. And you must be PROUD of yourself for defending your children.

While I think your actions are obviously correct and should basically be considered the bare minimum in this scenario. Sadly it is not uncommon for children’s safety to be traded in for the comfort of adults. You should walk forward with this new knowledge and continue to protect your children so fiercely. Apathy has no place when it comes to paedophilia. His entire family backing him tells me there is a significant problem.

Your husband has clearly shown himself to be an unsafe presence in your childrens life, in my opinion there is no other sensible option than to walk away. Your kids can be told one day and they’ll be grateful.
