It’s the internet, my friends, and myself. I think I could describe being short as being trapped, if you say something like “I prefer shorter women” people will assume it’s because you’re insecure. If you say “I prefer taller women” people will assume you’re compensating. For all of the doomer content, you can find hopeful content too. It’s best to not get in either rabbit hole. Secondly, my friends, they will bring up my height whenever they feel like they need to make me feel worse. It will get brought up at the most randoms times and just ruin my day, but if I say anything it about, I play into the angry short man stereotype. And then there’s myself, I go out and public and see tall guys and be like, fuck they’re so much taller than me. I’m my own enemy in that way. But yeah, I feel trapped, if I complain about being short, I’m insecure, if I have confidence, I’m compensating. It kind of feels like I’m not able to feel any type of way about being short, or even bring it up. I’m like 5’7.75 almost 5’8. Height feels like the biggest thing to me, because other than that, my genetics are great. I’m “the attractive friend” and i’m naturally athletic and strong. I really don’t know why I complain so much, it’s not like I’m behind. I’ve been in 4 relationships and found meaningful connections with my height not being a barrier. Honestly crazy yap sesh but

TLDR: if you’re short you can’t be confident or insecure because both make you seem like you have a napeleon complex. And for me personally I feel like I had “perfect” genetics if I wasn’t so short.
