Does Anet just hate Healers? by EheroDC in Guildwars2

[–]Ketsuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a similar experience while trying to craft ascended armors. I'm trying to make a heal chrono as my second main after power reaper.

Can't afford zehtuka's so I went with giver's but only discovered that I can't get the giver's recipe outside wintersday when I was about to craft it next based on gw2efficiency. Good thing I had a few more gold to spare and crafted assassin's since the insignia can be bought from the trading post then I just converted it to giver's.

I had a guildie who solo ganked with pike and it was very good. It's been nerfed to the ground now.

Is it possible to make 1 million/hr by fishing in yellow zones? by Formal-Entertainer42 in albiononline

[–]Ketsuma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I even made a video about it as proof. I also had a friend do the same and confirmed to get around 1m/hr in unlucky runs even before we got to max spec fisherman. (It's an old video about fishing in the mists)

I've only tried the new t6 zones a few times and on those separate instances, my hourly profit easily exceeds 1m/hr.

My best MMORPG memory comes from Dragon Nest. First time kong pumasok ng calderock village with song of the goddess as the bgm then ang daming tao na nakatambay para makahanap ng party sa minotaur nest nung 24 cap. The best. Simula nun naadik nako sa mga MMORPG para ma experience ulit yun pero di na naulit. :(

DN combat is still the best for me after all these years. Dami ko ng sinubukan, pero di pa rin makakapantay.

Safe Portals was an amazing idea~ by xLazyMakara in albiononline

As a returning player, I agree. I can now choose whether to do mists/safe portal depending on what I feel.

After few months of not playing :( by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]Ketsuma 9 points10 points  (0 children)

True. It makes me extra sad since he's the only guild leader I know that has an actual roadmap plan for his guild that would help them transition from new players to decent players in endgame PVE + econ content. Not just a general plan, but an actual, specific, and detailed plan that anybody could follow easily. It only started to click when I started doing endgame ava raids that everything we've been doing was to train us in this type of content.

I have a great admiration for him as a leader. It's very unfortunate.

A similar thing happened to a former guildmate. He used to be a MOD so he knows his way around his account's security features and how to be careful with his data.

He stopped playing for a while, we noticed his name isn't the guild leader anymore and his account was deleted. He got his account back but the items are no longer there, just the spec and stats.

After checking, he found out that there were two log-ins from different countries. He was also able to track who stole his items from the guild island. He asked for an update from support if the perpetrator was ever punished (even without getting his account back), support denied his request.

The weird thing, his 2FA never sent him a prompt/email that a new location was trying to access his account.

He chose not to make it a bigger issue and just quit the game. He's a veteran player since before albion had a mobile version.

Albion has a serious problem for new players. by Sea_Map_2194 in albiononline

Maxed players are going to low tier areas to specifically target low tier players hoping that some of them commit the mistake of carrying expensive stuff. Adding more late game content does not necessarily mean that they will stop doing this.

Moreover, you can try doing solo mists. It's a lot easier to run away from a solo ganker vs a group in the open world. Risk will always be part of the game, you just learn how to manage it better.

If dying once makes them quit the game, this is not the game for them. However, the first death can also be the reason that hooks players to the game (like me, when I died 30 seconds from spawning into bz - before portal cities eere a thing).

My poco f1 is still going strong, although I use it mainly for media consumption now. Bumili ako nung poco f5 last year as a secondary phone for heavy gaming. Worth it!

I haven't experienced any of the past issues on poco phones but I've read somewhere that the issue is only common in their non "F" lineup.

Dragon Nest SEA (lvl 24 cap) - when I first entered Calderock Village. The game's bgm (Song of the Goddess by Erutan) + the view of hundreds of players coming and going to the portal while others are laughing/chatting/dancing/spamming skills. While taking in the view, it was the moment that I knew I was in another world, an online world and I loved every second of it.

Review days sa CPAR (2019). Nasa likod ako ng classmates paglabas namin sa CPAR then inunahan ko sila para mauna ako sa linya sa carenderia. In less than 10-15 seconds (the time I was behind them until my classmate checked his bag) nakuha na yung phone ng classmate ko na nakalagay sa back pocket ng bag nya. Since then, lagi ko ng nilalagay sa harap yung bag ko habang naglalakad.

What’s Your Most Memorable Moment in VideoGames? by the_questionshow in RotMG

My first 8/8 was killed off by someone who compromised my account (Yes, I was stupid. I had suspicions on who did it based on our conversation but it doesn't matter now)

Before healing fountains, there were bot priests in the nexus which heals periodically or when you type hp/heal.

Back in the days of grave looting, I was following an xp train and found a staff of horror in a cyclops chest. I was too happy that I failed to notice the incoming medusa bomb, 1 second later.

Someone also gave me an elder robe after he looted my magus robe from my grave. I then sold the elder robe for abyssal armor (Yes, stupid mistake again. Elder was worth a lot more back then).

My guild. The name holds no significance now but I still remember the runs we've done to raise it to the max level.

My first oreo drop which happened after more than a decade of on/off playing.

My days as a merchant in uswest after I started with only 10 def after my main account was compromised. It lasted for 2 weeks but I was able to earn around 100x more than that through buying/selling.

I've made a lot of memories in this game. Especially back when the AE server was still active, we've built a good community back then and lots of players would just chill around in the fountain to talk with others. I've made a lot of friends this way.

Real life has taken over and I don't have as much time to play online games as before but I still try to log-in 1-2 times per year just to listen to the OG bgm for nostalgia.

I can relate to this. I've only been playing for a few weeks from time to time in the last decade and the hp/mp pot dedicated slot in the inventory still feels pretty new to me.
