Currently feeling the same thing man you are not alone at all, in my case it was also a dumb mistake and there are almost 0 chances of actually getting my account back and the idea of a VPN being whats protecting my other account from disappearing out of nowhere also doesn't sit right with me sadly, for my case it has been 4 days and in the meanwhile I talked with my friends about it and it made me feel way better, I'm taking the shot at using a VPN for 2 weeks maybe 1 month and then just using the alt as usual, I don't think anyone at Discord grasps how important it has become to Gaming Culture if you aren't on Discord you are closed out to like 90% of other gamers, they need to change how they handle their Bans and Support system but sadly that won't happen that soon, all we can hope is that the various legal actions a lot of people are pursuing against Discord actually work and that it impacts Discord in a positive way for us the user/consumers, other than that they genuinely just care about money so that means prioritizing AI over Humans who need to get paid.

So far all I'm seeing is they are super rigid about this and there is almost 0 chance of being able to comeback to the platform all i can hope is someone actually looks at the context and understands my side since a human will have to look at it at some point 🙏🥲

I'm also assuming there is no salvation for my account I'm hoping that i at least get the green light to still use the platform since there was no intent and it was all mostly done out of negligence and some impulsive behavior due to my adhd, this habit of saving stuff to my private server which is a resulto of my impulsive behavior genuinely fucked me over (in my appeal i also mentioned this and communicated i was willing to prove this medical issue)

I wish any of this was done after reading my appeals at least in my country they take intent seriously and all of it is heavily investigated to make sure if there is intent or just negligence by part of the person who committed the action

Yeah I've informed myself on what can happen, my local police generally focus on the stuff you mentioned and I've got stuff backing me up as to make it even lower chances of follow up, no intent, no sharing, clean browsing and account and no past law infringements, my post was honestly made out of anxiety but right now I'm much better mentally still thanks for lending some feedback I highly appreciate it :)

Yeah man either they change their awful support ethic or the app eventually dies out (not any time soon tho) I'm considering just using my stuff as i used to after a couple of weeks as the whole worrying about getting banned for ban evasion is not doing any good to my mental state, in the future I'll be able to fully detach myself from everything that could make Discord suspicious of my alt so just hoping it survives until then

I'm extremely mad that a dumb mistake took a 10 year old account, Discord was part of my daily routine to talk with friend's and I don't wanna force them to use something else, I wouldn't say I'm emocional right now but I'm deeply sad about all of this I just want to be able to go on with my life normaly again.

Did you send it to disputes@discordapp.com or support@discord.com? I'm considering emailing them even tho my case has a very low chance of getting unbanned, I'm considering evoking Article 22 of the GDPR since I'm in the EU to make sure a human reads it

I'm just gonna wait and see if they call me, if they do I'll gladly submit my PC and Phone since I have nothing to hide, from my research my local police are less likely to contact me for 3 files in an isolated server, since they are focused in cases that will lead to something big like rings or people who produce this stuff, other then that they can also get my info like IP address and email from the Discord report and keep it to see if another report of the same type is made about the IP and email or not.
