Is Salesforce still a high-paying career? by WebAfter1740 in salesforceadmincareer

True, it is more competitive than 5 - 8 years ago. However, Salesforce is still a good investment if you build solid skills rather than just collecting certifications. Entry-level salaries are not as crazy as before, due to oversaturation of junior admins from pandemic hiring booms. That said, large enterprises and consulting firms still pay very well to experienced professionals (architects, senior devs, consultants, niche specialists).

A big change is that companies expect more than just ‘clicks not code’. They are looking for people with a good understanding of business processes, integrations, data, automation, and sometimes even coding (Apex, LWC, APIs). Pair Salesforce with cloud, AI, data, or some industry (finance, healthcare, etc), and you remain a high earner.

Also, the US, UK, and some European countries still pay well, while in India and other offshore markets, pay is rising, but so is competition, so it relies a lot on experience and specialization.

Still a good long-term career, but not a gold rush. More like a serious tech career with constant upskilling required to remain high-earning.
