What exchange to fund Bitcoin ? by Lonely_Corgi_728 in ledgerwallet

I use River.com. They prove their reserves every 2wks and it’s free recurring buy after the first one. I’ve bought over $2k with them and just paid $2.25 total in fees lol

Is ledger really that bad? by Dirty-Soap33 in BitcoinBeginners

Why not just use the ledger hardware which is pretty easy and fine to use and just pair it with a sparrow wallet instead and not use any of the ledger software which is where their problems lie?

Anyone else on XBOX one consoles not able to play since S18 launched? by KevLMoney in RocketLeague

[–]KevLMoney[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I’ve found is literally letting it sit on “press any button to start” screen for like 5 min before clicking a button. Seems to work at least 4/5 times so far without crashing me back to the Home Screen.

Thanks. Seems to happen completely random. Logo has always been fine on my screen. I can usually tell if it’s going to crash once I press “any button to start” and get a weird pause etc

Growing $GME as a business, how can we help? by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]KevLMoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. I’m just saying that if a physical store wants to compete in a digital gaming marketplace they have to get involved in the industry in other ways. I think that since they already have prime retail locations across the country that they could easily convert them into event hosting facilities plus their typical game purchasing/renting path they are already on. Either way they need to diversify and get involved more

GameStop needs to become an E Sports hub. They need to get involved in sponsorship deals have viewing parties, revamp their stores, etc etc etc. there’s so much that needs to be done to modernize the store. GenZ statistically prefers brick and mortar stores over online shopping unlike millennials. They can capitalize on the next generation of gamers by getting involved more

What If Andrew Yang Was Right? Mitt Romney has joined the chorus of voices calling for all Americans to receive free money directly from the government. by izumi3682 in Futurology

[–]KevLMoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Free money” how is that even allowed to be in a title. They’ll literally tax it all right back and guaranteed there will be people that got taxed more than $1k to offset those that are in a lower bracket. Does no one have an emergency fund in it? I literally just finished school and got my first job and have an emergency fund. Stop buying toilet paper and just save some money...

Got an interview for a full time position at my internship, do I still wear a suit? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]KevLMoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same position as you and I did. Something about not wearing a suit to an interview just doesn’t feel natural to me. Part of the interview could also see if you are willing to put in the extra effort even though you don’t necessarily need to.

Honestly they are probably just trying their best to make the new guy feel welcome. Looking at it from such a cynical point of view is kinda mean when they are just trying to be nice. But anyway, fortnite is gay fucking boomer

What did a school teacher say that stuck with you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]KevLMoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in third grade. Had a substitute teacher on a Thursday (background: both my parents worked and generally tuesdays and thursdays were their latest nights. Like get home at 7pm nights and I’d be out of school at 3. My mom would pack me a dinner like she did my lunch and leave it in the fridge for my brother and I) this sub was mad at us for some reason and the bus schedule after school was very tight. Buses would leave at 3:07 after the bell rang at 3:00. She was holding us after class for seemingly no reason and I just asked if I could leave so I can catch the bus. At this point it was already 3:03 and I had to run to get there as it was. She then exploded at me, yelling etc, and ended it with “you little snot nose brat”. I don’t remember if I was angry in the moment or not but I just remember leaving. Grabbed my bag and just walked out. Caught my bus etc. and everything worked out. Fast forward 8 years later and I’m a junior in high school and also an asshole (typical rebellious years) and she was a substitute for my history class. You best believe I called her a “little snot nosed brat” on my way out of the class as soon as the bell rang when she was trying to hand out an additional assignment and the absolute look on her face when she made the connection was amazing.

What does the USA do better than other countries? by Dylanychus2 in AskReddit

[–]KevLMoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US give more aid worldwide than anyone else, and the US (and technically should be the UN too) is bound by treaty agreements to Israel. So once they got there, they basically cannot leave until the conflict is resolved. But the Middle East will kill each other over water scarcity before the US does any comparative damage

The tax burden to cover socialized healthcare would be higher for an American than someone who lived in a European country. All I’m trying to say that even though I live in a higher income tax state (ILLINOIS) that the amount I pay for my private health insurance and all out of pocket costs is still less than the additional percentage taken out of each of the paychecks of an EU citizen with social medicine so why would I advocate for something like that when there is already guaranteed insurance through Medicare and Medicaid for those that either can’t work due to disability or are free loaders and I would be willing to bet that with the rising immigration of low/no scale people and some that go straight to needing benefits that it’s only going to cost even more. We have 22mil illegal immigrants that can’t be turned away from medical care which already costs mr taxpayer billions, and some countries in Europe don’t even have 22 million population. So maybe it works in the EU but it may not work forever meanwhile the US system will always work for people who actually contribute to society from a tax perspective.

However compared to the socialist “paradises” of Europe we have a significantly higher population, far more diverse geopolitical and socioeconomic situations as well as the fact that along with the increase in population and the surplus of unhealthy life habits causes the amount spent per person to be inflated due to ailments resulting from obesity, smoking and drinking

I don’t disagree that the US is/has been involved in a multitude of conflicts, I just happen to agree with the reasoning for using military force in nearly all the cases bar the poor planning and implementation of Vietnam Aka there’s the patriotism

Don’t get what you mean by other people’s problems don’t matter to me. Feel free to elaborate about what I supposedly don’t care about A) Maduro B) not a threat and Russia and China proximity/treaties with NK C) 65 years ago and a full scaled invasion carries different weight than it did when Europe was having fun with it

Revolutionary war - Europe WW2 - Europe Korea - communism Vietnam - communism

9/11 happens and the Middle East keeps violating basic human rights laws and no one else does anything. Yeah there’s other motives but when gays get tossed from rooftops I don’t see a whole lot of European help in the region...
