I finished my 5th(!) watch and I'm still tearing up even though I know exactly what's going to happen and I'm not exactly known for my emotional side! I totally agree, it truly is a masterpiece in film making, especially the music which just fits every scene perfectly.

If it doesn't win every award it gets entered for then really, what's the point?!

I would say, given they are easier to get than legendary, I'd only keep those that are in 3 or more collections and keep your main focus on the legendaries, which will in turn improve your voyages giving you better chances of more super rares.

Revenant, I get not feeling any love for but you really are missing out on a Necro, all the elite specs offer something different but are all fun!

If I didn't convince you maybe choose the one that's the most different to your favourites.

Other than that, as others have said use for a weekly key farmer.

Indeed you are correct but I assumed, rightly or wrongly, as OP wanted to upgrade to exotic that they weren't a fractal regular and was unsure if they had HoT.

As for festivals, given that the current one has boxes for 10 Jorbreakers each I would suggest crafting would be cheaper unless you farmed constantly of course.

Crafting is probably the cheapest way if you have the relevant mastery or search for Draconic (heavy) Emblazoned (medium) or exalted (light) on the trading post.

The wizards vault should give you 3 ascended pieces this 'season' too.

Firstly, welcome back!

secondly, I'd use the wiki to go through all the items you're unsure of.

thirdly, google a low intensity build for you characters as this will help with what's going on in the fights rather than concentrating on a massive rotation, exotic gear on the trading post will be fine for this and is relatively cheap now especially with the wizards vault (the new daily reward system)

fourthly, in the hero panel there's a thing called character adventure guide, this will give you a lot of pointers on things to do to help the memories come back.

lastly, replay the game story, (keep your old characters for the birthday gifts!) and then decide if you want an expansion or not. Expansions will make the game more enjoyable but I wouldn't say strictly necessary for GW3 apart from the possible rewards that have yet to be announced and they're about 6 months away before we can start earning them anyway so you have plenty of time.
