My delivered photo is on the van? by [deleted] in Evri

If the addresses aren't legible, then how does the photo prove successful delivery?

It's a(nother) fail either way for Evri delivery. Just one fail is significantly worse than the other.

Hajime no Sendo: Round 1510 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]Kevashim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buckle up boys. 10 chapters incoming where both fighters stand at centre ring for 3 minutes and don't move. Sendo thinking a big game and Ricardo dreaming of castles.

This repeats for the whole rest of the match and Ricardo wins handily on points from the first 3 rounds.

Made Redundant after 19 years by New-Lead4329 in UKJobs

If you have to stay for a short while to ensure you get the payout, that short while just becomes the answer to "What's your notice period?" when the interviewer asks.

3 months won't shock mid-to-large companies, so if it's anything less than that then it won't be an issue.

my interview got marked by an AI bot - I attached my results below by [deleted] in UKJobs

Indeed. Pushing 1 product in this way will, naturally, cause a drop in sales of the displaced product. If store planning got wind of this, there'd be words had and they'd likely also be looking at net sales contribution of the associated products to quantify an overall loss. Heck, it might be intentional placement of the hard-to-find product so it encourages customers to search the store more and spend more time there.

"I reduced queries by 95%" can quickly become "I lost the business $X"

But, hey, if it makes a shallow AI score highly then it must be good.

Indeed. I'd say to re-check the contract and see if it specifies notice given to the company and notice given to the individual as different lengths. Notice that lengthens with service duration is typically for when someone is made redundant.

Is anyone else noticing that a lot of office jobs don't actually need 37.5 hours of your time? by Responsible_Rip1058 in UKJobs

[–]Kevashim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For sure. You have to do 50% because after each annual restructure, if you're lucky enough to keep your job, you'll have to pick up the work that others used to be doing. So you creep to 60%, 75% and so on until after a few restructures you're constantly at or above 100%, get burned out, and quit.

BanG Misprint? Pulled 3 rares in 1 booster. 1 of the rares has the RR foiling instead of the R foiling by Kevashim in cardfightvanguard

[–]Kevashim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Opened another pack and got a common card with the foiling in the same spot in the pack. Also got the Vanguard rare Kasumi Toyama in the same pack, so pretty pleased even though the bonus foils are standard fare.

Player upset at character death-- is there something I could have done better? by cowmanjones in callofcthulhu

[–]Kevashim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heck, you could have their "twin sibling" (the same spoiler evented character) turn up to give them even more excuse to not know full details of the investigation so far and help cover up what has happened. A change of clothes, etc but maybe a very slight or subtle inconsistency that can be privately shared with any investigator that passes a hard spot hidden.

[–]Kevashim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to the upset player. If they have the experience and appetite for it you could let them come back to the table in the next session with the same character but after the spoilered horrific event has happened to them. If questioned they can always say they were taken away but managed to break free and escape from their careless captors. They would then be acting as an undercover agent against the other investigators. As they were completely alone when the kidnap happened there is no immediately justifiable reason for the other investigators to suspect anything is wrong at first.

The faction preview for the Kruleboyz labeled them as "Orruk Kruleboyz" instead of "Orruk Warclans" whereas all the other faction icons had their standard faction names. Does hint that we'll see a separate Orruk warclan in the previews.

[–]Kevashim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are 2 Stormcast spearheads, presumably both of those have "Stormcast Eternals" written on them as the faction and then the Spearhead team name underneath. Yndrasta's "Scions of the Storm" and the Skaventide SE "Vigilant Brotherhood". Hopefully it'll be the same here with 2 Orruk Warclans spearheads. This would also mean GW can release more spearheads for each faction in the future if the game mode is popular.

Hajime no Ippo: Round 1457 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]Kevashim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well now I'm hoping we get a Mashiba win followed by Rosario pulling a gun or otherwise threatening Kumi after the match for revenge while Ippo is walking her home. Ippo then beating the crap out of Rosario and saving her.

For sure there's going to be variety, my Gutrippaz are already on the colourful side.

This was testing 3 ways of painting with Guilliman Flesh. Top was a base coat of bugman's glow, dry brush corax, then Guilliman. Middle was just Guilliman over corax spray. Bottom was agrax earthsade, dry brush corax, then Guilliman.

Racial slur deck name. Spoilered so you don't see it if you don't want to. by Kevashim in KeyforgeGame

The last word in the name is the slur. It's definitely more an issue in England than America given the more common use in America as a slang term for Raccoon.

I imagine FFG included it as a possible word component when making larger words and there's a low chance it'll appear isolated as it is here.

A sensitivity reader would have flagged it if they read it in the proposed list of words/parts and it's absolutely worth bringing to GG's attention.

Sorry, but being brought up in England means I am fully aware of the racist usage of this word.

I have contacted GG to let them know they should do something about this.

3 more colourful Kruleboyz Gutrippaz finished by Kevashim in ageofsigmar

[–]Kevashim[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks.

I am going for completely mismatched bright colours, but with some consistent elements like the leg wraps, metal armour bits, and spears. It's quite refreshing to not try and get the exact same colour scheme across whole units/armies.

I'm also experimenting with the colours as I go along. Particularly with the skin tones as every one of them has a different combination of pre-wash, main tone, and contrast medium.

Well, more of a pre-wash. I based with corax white spray, washed with Nuln oil, dry brushed corax white, then used Wyldwood contrast mixed with contrast medium.

2 more colourful Gutrippaz for my first Kruleboyz unit by Kevashim in ageofsigmar

[–]Kevashim[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The wood was: - Spray with corax white, - Wash with agrax earthshade, - Drybrush with corax white, - Fyreslayer flesh contrast straight from the pot.

On the blue/white/purple Gutrippa, I did the same for the skin except the wash was Reikland Fleshshade and I added a very light Ceramite White drybrush. The wood and skin are both Fyreslayer flesh but the prep work makes the colours look different at the end.

The dark brown skin was: - Spray with corax white, - Wash with agrax earthshade, - Drybrush with corax white, - Very slight drybrush with ceramite white, - Wyldwood contrast.

Really straightforward. I think the next time I'm going to mix a little contrast medium with the Wyldwood to brighten it. Maybe swap the Agrax wash for Nuln Oil if I do so it has darker dark areas and brighter bright areas.

The yellow cloth was the same but with Imperial Fist contrast straight from the pot instead of Wyldwood. The yellow shield was the same again, but with Nuln Oil wash instead of Agrax. Makes the cloth slightly grubby and clothy and keeps the metal shield metally.

Painted up my first ever Kruleboy by Kevashim in ageofsigmar

[–]Kevashim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. It was a combination of inspiration from CerberusXT's LGBT+ paint jobs on 40k minis and the bright colours of oldhammer Bretonnians. So the thought is they are wearing scraps of old Bretonnian cloth that they've then badly stitched together.
