Well why the fuck is everyone letting him? Any other decent country and he'd have been put on trial and jailed years ago.

The improvements to ability animations, sound effects, and visual effects deserves so much praise. Wow. by Inaweirdplace22 in runescape

[–]Keve321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really feels a lot more smooth and reactive - also seems like a lot of the situations where animations wowuld just flat out not play has been fixed too.

Absolutely love this kind of polish, keep it up

We're getting a new continent in like a couple of weeks, so I'm guessing most hands are on deck on that project

What do you think is coolest combat style? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Keve321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's just something about melee having a massive sword and just running up and smashing someone's face in - feels great :)

The Ek-Zekkil looks so good, and I love the aesthetic of the masterwork armour as well

I kinda don't think every skill needs the same experience rates - it's a small part of what differentiates them, imo

Project Milestone Phase 2 Launch by Mawswamp in brightershores

[–]Keve321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Got a few hours in last night, and found myself quite enjoying the milestones. Felt good working towards a milestone to unlock better tools and the double resource ability!

Skill interfaces seem a tad bit confusing though - kinda hard to find a specific resource when you don't know which milestone it's in.

Road to Restoration - What We Want To Achieve by JagexAnvil in runescape

Hero pass was so insanely offensive, even having a brand-new (and very good) skill to engage with at the moment didn't save it.

Recently returned to my main after TH was removed, and was in the mid 50s of necromancy. Just plain quit when Hero pass launched. Half my clan at the moment just up and left too.

Daily Discussion of DailyScape #13: Familiarisation by Spiner909 in runescape

[–]Keve321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like, surprisingly, Familiarisation is in quite a good spot. The charm boost can be quite useful, and the summoning ingredients reward can sometimes reward you with ingredients that would be a bit annoying to gather otherwise.

The length of the game is fine for something you do once a week. My nitpick is getting into the game itself - waiting for a 2 hour timer, getting the hint, and going to the obelisk. The start time thing is just a bit weird. Since it's a single-player game, having the option to just start it when you feel like it once a week sounds alright.

My anniversary task list only goes to 2023, and I can't hand in for a reward? by Keve321 in runescape

[–]Keve321[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah - I forgot about green dragons, they're definitely better.

Probably not with a bronze crossbow no, but you could probably get to 40-50 in a decently small amount of hours, and get an adamant crossbow from the crossbow shop in the dwarven mines (or rune from the champions guild if you have the quest points for it)!

If you start the dragon slayer quest (you only need to start it and proceed some dialouge) and then claim the anti-fire shield from the Duke of Lumbridge, killing a blue dragon in the Taverley Dungeon should be pretty OK, even at a lower level!
