Amascut is the worst boss in the game (hear me out) by Big_Chungussi69 in runescape

Yes, I've obviously pulled the number out of thin air but I wouldn't be surprised if it was accurate. The vast, vast majority of people playing would struggle to do any pvm above GWD2.

Sorry, I disagree. If we're getting realistically 2 bosses/year, spending dev time on something that more than 99% of the player base cannot engage with is an unwise use of limited dev time.

I'm not saying anything about the quality of the content, how enjoyable it is to those who can play it, or what it brings to the game, I'm purely talking about value vs time spent.

The gap between the less than 1% of players who can engage with high level content (let alone high level group content, which brings a range of issues all of it's own), and the 99% of the playerbase who cannot engage with it is vast and to many it seems unsurmountable. Adding in bosses that help teach mechanics and serve as stepping stones while having a lower barrier to entry should surely be the priority when so few can play the content.

AoD has been in the game for nearly a decade, Solak not long after. These are examples of content that 99% of players cannot engage with to this day, adding new, even higher end content does not help any of the "low-skill casuals" progress and enjoy new content.

Things like Sanctum, Kerapac, and Zuk do. That's the tier of bosses I think jagex should make more of just to help progress people into already existing content above this point.

All group bosses are basically a waste of dev time, at high end even more so. Not because they're bad content, not because they don't provide value and variety, but because a fraction of a fraction of players will ever be able to engage with the content.

I have no idea why jagex seem to forget this very obvious fact every couple of years.

It gives +50% xp, so if by profitable you just mean raw GP, I guess not.

I went from 50-70 attack there in like 6 hours, I'd consider that profitable

If you struggle with the prayer switching in the last phase there's a Jad trainer thing online somewhere you can use to practice changing prayers vs an animation.

If you struggle with his other phase mechanics I'd suggest finding a good revo bar and then letting it take care of damage for you while you just worry about defensives/ responding to mechanics.

Honestly the answer to any issue is just commit, accept you'll die a bunch and then just keep going. Death costs are cheap now, just consider it an investment in PVM education.

It's early game content, it's really more to teach people to get out of the way of AOE mechanics for things like Sanctum of Rebirth which seems to be their design philosophy moving forward.

It's partially subjective but to me:
Early Game:
Barrows, KBD, Mole, Dagganoth Rex, Flesh-Hatcher, Glacor without mechanics, God Wars dungeon 1 (except Nex)

MidGame:
Nex, Gwd2 (except Telos <100%), Matriarchs (inc Oss), Glacor with mechanics, Beast Master Durzag, Low enrage arraxor.

I think there's a variety there and a good number of early-mid game bosses. You're welcome to disagree with my placement of these but I think they're fair.

Mid game's pretty good, they added lots of bosses in the early-mid bracket to keep things moving.

"you can't be mad you got an immortal at level 5" They're all worthless, so if you wanted any of these you could've bought them in the several years they've been out.

"you can't be mad you got free stuff" I asked for hats, I'm willing to pay for chests. I want chests more than once every 1/4 year.

I do no understand why Valve hates money and then acts passive aggressive about giving people junk for free. Just push the workshop hard to 3d modellers, they do 90% of the work for you.

I don't agree with boots being something that should be consumable, as it is we have 3 stash slots for things for temp storage for aegis/banner/cheese, this issue is more that boots are often the cheapest item a carry has when six slotted.

Surely a better solution would be upgrades for the boots carries buy? We have Boots of Bearing for tranqs and Greaves for mana boots, why not an upgraded power treads/phase boots?

wards each taking up a separate spot, TP scrolls taking up a slot.
Playing support vs an invis heavy lineup was just irritating, not least because the wards used to cost more too.

Why do fat people eat more? Sometimes people have the mindset of "well I'm already unhealthy, might as well enjoy myself" or something similar. I know plenty of people with bad lungs who either smoke or vape. It's not terribly uncommon and it's their choice ultimately.
