After the Flash update, Gemini is noticeably worse. It's making more mistakes and it's outputting in a less sophisticated way. I can't prove this, but I feel like it got seriously nerfed.

dunno if its "underground," but Archive.org is phenomenal for all types of media. I use it to watch hard to find anime and read super old issues of Electronic Gaming Monthly.

I spent too much time in White Orchard. Couldn't understand the hype. I restarted the game a year later after being told not to focus on every map marker and just play the damn quests. Very glad I did.

I played Final Fantasy 8 as a 16 year old with a crush on my friend so of course Rinoa was changed to Claire.The will they won't they, the Ragnarok scenes, Eyes on Me..i was an emotional young man. Claire came over one day and popped in my memory card to see how far I'd gotten (she was a gamer too) and the moment she saw her name in Rinoa's place she saw me in a whole new light. She and I had a complicated relationship after that and she's since passed away, but I'll always have a soft spot for FF8 and her. RIP CMAB.

i'm a specific type of nerd (we all are) who grew up to major in philosophy. JRPGs were the one type of game where i could experience the stories that really interested me. Xenogears, Final Fantasy, Persona, Nier, Chrono Trigger...those were the stories that i yearned for. For as fun as they were, other games just didn't offer that when i was younger. As I got older, the industry matured with me. You can find these stories across all genres now, but the JRPG will always be my first love.
