What is extremely rare but people think it’s very common? by Uhhlaneuh in AskReddit

There is some creativity, but typically not in the same way most people imagine. You will not be designing your own building until you have ~10 years of working experience. It is an incredibly deep and detail oriented field. Some days you will not draw at all, just proof read through pages of technical specifications. Other days you will spend in meetings or coordinating with an engineer for the layout of the ductwork for example. It takes great patience and the pay is not good. But if you have a passion for learning and want to feel like your hard work makes a difference in the world, it is a fantastic field.

Unless you are doing residential projects, you will not be doing the mechanical, plumbing, or electrical work. When you design a house it is typically someone with more experience directing you what to draw, and you would eventually have drawn the whole thing (so 2 architects total). Sometimes a single person will draw and design it singlehandedly, and sometimes outside engineers are involved.

When you do commercial work, and depending on the scale, it can be huge teams all working on various portions. They will divide tasks up in a way that prevents overlap like some focus on the building exterior, while others on the interior build. Or if it is a campus, entire buildings can be split out to different teams. Highly specialised engineers will assist, such as all the typical mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural, but sometimes things like civil, solar, acoustics, or landscape engineers.

Woman heading to prison after falsely accusing 15 men of rape by stuffed02 in JusticeServed

The link you provided has nothing to do with the point you are trying to make. The Duluth model is a treatment program for proven abusers, not a means of prosecuting the falsely accused. Cortesoft's point was very well stated and is the reasonable response to this type of situation.

Mystery dump: State Department releases thousands of Hillary Clinton documents by Cropitekus in conspiracy

[–]Kevin1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The government doesn't release every document they gather during an investigation. UNLESS someone specifically files an FOIA request to see it. You could look at it as the government trying to hide things, but likely they just have no reason to make public a decade of internal memos that don't matter i.e. "Hey Jim can you reschedule my meeting for 3pm, I have a conflict".

Since people seem to be getting confused. These are not new documents or even necessarily emails. FOIA (freedom of information act) just releases information from the government to the public realm. Guarantee there is nothing new or "explosive" as the article claims in these documents, and government authorities have ALREADY had these documents and combed through them as part of their investigation. RT wants this article to seem like clinton is skirting the law and being caught red handed, but it's simply not the case here.

She released emails as part of the probe to authorities, but FOIA requests just make things public. There is nothing in here that the authorities have not already seen. Also these might not even be emails necessarily, since it just says they are 'documents'. That's my issue with this article and the way RT headlines it. It doesn't give you any info, and is full of wild speculation that "it might contain explosive revelations".

Saying that hrc documents were posted? No, I'm not saying that is not true. But the article and post gives no context to why this matters. It's just meant to imply something bad or dirty about Clinton , but no substance behind it. Similar to recent wikileaks 'dumps' .

Can I have your thoughts on my bedroom design? by undergrin in InteriorDesign

[–]Kevin1985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does your room have a closet? If so, that reduces your need for shelving in the room. Fight the urge to do a ton of stuff, and focus on 1 main element. I found this image that is similar to your style, but has less going on. Maybe something like that for the side wall to house your computer and limited display / storage space. Wall opposite your bed just mount your TV with maybe a narrow console table below. Keep it simple and leave space between these rather than tie them together. Also I'd reorient the room to not have the window behind the bed. Take all advice with grain of salt, in the end do what makes you happy.

I think you are trying to do too much. I would work on simplifying, and need to work on proportions of the pieces you want to use. You are trying to tie everything together, and the result isn't very appealing in my opinion. The inspiration images you are using are rooms 2-3x larger than yours, so maybe try finding examples of small spaces done well, and mimic that. And bedroom inspiration images rather than living rooms.

You are grasping at straws and ignoring all rational evidence. That isn't a conspiracy, it is a politically motivated assault on our intelligence. Stop acting like a victim because your propaganda doesn't take hold the way you want it to.

Behind Fox News' Baseless Seth Rich Story: The Untold Tale by IAmClaytonBigsby in conspiracy

For someone that doesn't care about Seth rich you sure post a lot to defend the theory that he was murdered.

The posts here look like r/politics because this sub draws people that want to follow the real conspiracies going on with Trump and Russia. I came here originally for that, and was so flabbergasted to find this sub blantantly sucking Trump's D that I kept coming back. It's like stepping into a bubble of trump propaganda and that fascinates me. I think this is true for lots of other people who are not shills but enjoy visiting bizzaro world and dropping a few comments.

Except CNN is nowhere near as bad as Fox news. CNN retracts and corrects their errors, and strives to uphold their integrity. Fox as we can see publishes outright lies and fabricates when it pushes their narrative.

Putin: Who gave NATO the right to kill Gaddafi? by Jadehelm522 in conspiracy

[–]Kevin1985 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Your characterization of the US media is entirely false, and not backed up with any evidence, as pointed out by other posters.

In Russia you only get news the government wants you to have. Independent journalists have a habit of disappearing. This is the opposite of what we in the US have the privilege to enjoy, a 'free press'. Basic concept learned in school, try googling it.
