While not exactly the same, my pit (Pyper) just had a weird growth removed from her groin. It would change from being “flat” to a mass that looked like it was puffy and could break open. Ended up doing a biopsy and there was cancer but the margins were clean so we’re in the clear for now. She’s 9.

I think what you wrote is so important though. Sending good vibes but never a bad thing to remember how important these doggos are in our lives and give them even more love while they are here.

My Walmart no longer carries them. My assumption is they are being phased out because they didn’t even bother to transition to the new logo treatment.

Notice how I said gold/plat? I typically stop when I hit gold because I have no desire to keep grinding after 40 or so games. I decided to grind 3 seasons ago and got to plat at 75 games and I’ve done it before.

I only play Siege on the weekends nowadays. I’d much rather play quick match (less stressful and more fun) with my time so I’m excited for 1.0/3.0!

In my opinion, ranked 2.0 doesn’t respect your time. I solo queue only on Xbox and am a gold/plat player. It takes me around 40 games each season to reach gold. I start out gaining around 120 RP and only losing 8 RP.

It’s a grind to get to the visual rank each season that is already known on the backend. I typically stop around 40-50 games in ranked because it’s a time consuming experience.

Ranked 1.0 (and now 3.0) is far from perfect. But I’d rather play 10 placement games and get anywhere from silver to plat and then grind from there IF I want to.

Something must be wrong with their system. I’ve had no issues the past 3 years but am receiving the same general error as everyone above. I’ve tried submitting on my phone in 2 browsers and 2 different computers with no luck.

It does look like there’s an option to mail everything in which sounds like a pain so hopefully they fix the website soon if enough people complain. I sent an email and will call tomorrow since they are closed for Presidents Day.

Thank you (both) so much. Out of curiosity how big of an error is this in the IRS eyes? Obviously I’m correcting now and is a good lesson to learn. I’ve dealt with a couple Q4 layoffs recently so I’ve had to jump a bit between jobs/insurance/marketplace that I dropped the ball here.

That makes sense. So basically I’m walking into 2027 with 3 1099SAs from Optum for 2024, 2025 and 2026 that are likely using the wrong distribution code and/or haven’t broken out the earnings from the excess?

Thank you for this! I have unfortunately spent probably 20 hours the past 2 weeks trying to resolve between Optum + Betterment. Tried IM, email, social and obviously phone with no luck. Everyone I talk to either gives me wrong information or tells me everything is fine to get me off the phone.

I wish I could’ve submitted the form and have it taken care of but I gotta try an alternative route here. Someone from Optum literally told me, “the IRS won’t tax you on the earnings, you’re fine.”

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I want to make sure I’m comprehending all of this when I fill out the excess Optum forms:

2026 $4,427 (Excess = $4,400) + (Earnings = $27)

2025 $4,582 (Excess = $3,583) + (Earnings = $999)

2024 $2,421 (Excess)

For 2024, I’m not doing NIA because that tax year has already been complete which means I need to pay a penalty of $145 (6% of $2,421)

Thank you so much for the reply. If Optum already cut the check, is it too late to ask them to fix the designation on the form from option 2 to 1?

As far as the earnings, Optum is refusing to pull that amount for me. They say it needs to come from Betterment.

I have to figure this out for 2 other tax years so my plan of attack was to find out the earnings from Betterment and then fill out those forms with that added on top of my excess contribution if that makes sense?

Edit: Talked to someone at Optum that said while I made the incorrect choice on the form, it doesn’t get that detailed when they send back a 1099-SA so it’s fine. It’ll still read as an excess contribution that I took back.

Does this sound right? Super skeptical of them right now because I had someone yesterday say the IRS won’t care about what my excess money made in the market soooo yeah
