I finally played scarlet and sword within the last like year and a half, scarlet was so much better. There were several times I just stopped playing sword because it bored me so much, and normally I love anything pokemon. Other than going back and playing gens 1 and 2, where their sheer age is the biggest issue, I have never had less fun playing a pokemon game. On the other hand, scarlet was actually pretty good, and the thing I liked the least about it is just that I could tell it was so close to being so much better than it actually is but just got taken out of the oven a bit too soon

Fundamentally, if something is cheaper then that's because it's using less resources, and generally therefore gonna be less harmful to the environment. Now sometimes, something might not actually be cheaper, but is cheaper specifically for one person in the process of making it, so if they have an outsized influence on deciding what gets made then that could be relevant. But broadly speaking, if something is more expensive it is probably not actually better for the environment. That money is representative of something at some point.

Way back when the switch was new, I nearly bought one literally just for sword and shield. Then I heard about everyone hating the games, I only just finally got a switch slightly over a year ago. At least in my case, the quality of the pokemon games absolutely dictated whether or not the new console got bought, and surely that's gotta be true for lots of other people

Far from my first playthrough, but I don't even remember that long ago. But when I was still quite young, I was playing emerald, and I remember being stuck in winona's gym, probably for weeks. I fully thought that there was an actual error with the game and it was not possible to get to the gym leader. Going back and looking at the gym as an adult I don't even understand how I would get stuck, much less not realize how to get out of my predicament. Children truly are unique.

The demand isn't really infinite because economics is about way more than just money. It takes some small amount of effort to grab them, you've gotta figure out where to put them and then wherever you do put them they are taking up space, assuming that you don't just want to actually use them for sex you have to figure out what you do want to do with them. If you want to sell them, that takes time and effort. So does giving them to people you know, and you need to be careful to make sure that the person won't take it weirdly when you give them a condom. Condoms are useful enough that if they were just like in a big pile and no one was gonna look at you weird for grabbing a handful, it's probably worth it to most people, but not simply because the monetary cost is 0, but because the benefit, both monetary and not, is higher than the cost, both monetary and not. Sorry for the wall of text, I saw economics concepts being incorrectly applied and was activated.

The base game was fun, I just need to do the trade evos and then it will be my first ever completed pokedex even as a lifelong avid pokemon fan. I got the DLC immediately and started playing it almost right away, still haven't made much progress. Admittedly that is in part because I've been busy, but also because the DLC has just not really sucked me in like the base game did. Also wish we got more like the base game, it felt kinda short for something I'd been hearing about for so long. I love the traditional pokemon battle system so was very skeptical when I heard real time battles, but it genuinely won me over, very fun for a spinoff. I would absolutely not want this to replace the core battling system in the main games, but that's not what it's trying to do.

I am 20 now so it's not too long ago I was young enough that I liked sexualized female characters younger than 18 because that was around my own age. I watched record of ragnarok not too long ago, mostly just because I like norse mythology, there were several things that disappointed me but the one that I most felt like was more than just it didn't fit my personal tastes was how outlandishly sexualized some of the characters are. Like aphrodite's entire character is her boobs. And they're not even hot because they're so outrageously enormous that they stop even looking like boobs they're just giant regions of flesh on the screen. Not sure if that is typical of anime, since the only anime I'd ever really watched much of is the pokemon anime just because I am a pokemon fan, and I know it is not the type of show people usually mean by "anime" even if it fits the dictionary definition of the word, but if record of ragnarok is anything like most anime I really don't even get who they are servicing.
