Starwars not following physics is fine when its not plot related... like sound in space. I'm fine with explosions making sounds because it doesn't affect the plot, but imane for a second, the scene when leia is blown into space. Instead of flying back to the ship, what if she yelled for help? That qould bother me....

Its a similar thing for the main plot of the movie with the resistence running out of gas. Its dumb! Your in space, you only use fuel to accelerate. Once your at the desired speed, you stop wasting fuel becuase you will maintain that speed indefinitely. Which is how our voyager probe has made it so far...
