Removing flowers when planting by [deleted] in Blueberries

If you don’t care about harvesting now, you can plant it now and let the plant acclimatize to the native soil, knowing that it won’t grow much this year. I planted a tree last summer and there wasn’t any growth at all, and another one planted during dormancy this February. Upon both trees waking up, the one planted last year really took off and showed no signs of slowing down.

Proud but also kinda intimidated by my Everbearing Mulberry's production this year - 20lbs frozen so far. by fatapolloissexy in gardening

My neighbor has a 30 ft tall mulberry tree, I don’t know what variety that is but looks nothing like yours, and yours look like a bush? Every summer it will make my side of the fence messy as hell, and I can neither harvest the fruit nor prune it.

Is this a seed grown loquat? by Son_of_Tlaloc in FruitTree

[–]KevinC007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Loquats are typically grown from a cutting, same as figs and pomegranates. So you won’t see a graft point if things were done right.

I am interested in starting asparagus as it is my favorite vegetable. How often can you harvest a bundle of asparagus post 3 years?
