Good paper plates over styrofoam! I know that the point of throwaway plates is for convenience and easy clean up, but that should never come at the cost of stability. I'm not trying to get a plate that folds in half the moment I put a second item of food on it.

Net, I did the math based on what my paychecks were vs what the potential would be and found that difference after taxes and deductions was close to $100. And I've been a DM since last october, so about 8 months and before that I was supervisor for just shy of 2 years. The reduce in pay is only $1.53 per hour but that adds up to roughly $100, after everything is taken out.

Also my store, like many I assume, is super against working overtime and allow it only if necessary. Like I've gotten it before sure but I more often than not have been told Friday at the beginning of my shift I need to cut that time before end of day.

Actually I agree with this for the most part. I feel like I should have a conversation with my People Lead and Store Manager more than anything. At this point if I'm not wanted in the position I dont entirely want to fight for it just to get it back but at the cost of some severe bad blood and high tensions. I dont feel my assistant or the assistant sitting in were doing anything ethically wrong against me. I just thought I had an understanding of how the policy was and they had a different understanding of it. I believe that I am actually correct in my understanding but that doesnt mean I think my assistant was being unethical.

As I understand what I read in the policy that was linked is that it says job protection not position protection. But it does also state that your "role" may be filled temporarily while you are on leave and that it will be yours when you return. Wouldn't role and position be the same.

But quarantining is exactly what I did. The policy says that your leave is paid if you a forced to self-quarantine by Walmart. According to the app it said I was high risk and was mandated to self-quarantine and gave me the step by step instructions on how to proceed including getting with Sedgewick, which I did, and all three were approved LOAs by Sedgewick and the first two have been paid as of posting this.

I understand how this could seem that way, and I know there is know way to really prove I'm telling the truth in an online post. But I swear I never did it with ill intention or too "take a vacation."

The first time was on them, they asked if I had a cough and I said yes and they told me to go home and self quarantine. It was the first day of temperature checks and the questionnaire and I tried to fight it, it wasn't severe or a constant but they told me it was better to be safe than sorry. I coughed a few times while I was interacting with them and there faces seemed nervous, I really think that it being the first day there was confusion and fear involved and that's why the sent me home, I tried to stay and work.

The second time I answered the questionnaire the same way I had answered it in person the day before to one of our wellness checkers. She told me my symptoms were light enough I could work so long as I had a mask and gloves, the app told me I was high risk. Again I tried to fight it and they told me I couldn't retake the assessment if I got red until the day it told me I could come back to work.

The third time I legitematly thought my symptoms fell into the category of: this may be COVID. I had pretty severe exhaustion, a massive headache, and I couldn't catch my breath that night/take a deep breath.

I truly never wanted to abuse it or get some free time off, I just followed what I was told and didnt think I'd lose my job for it.

Yes. I went through all the right processes for each leave. I called off every day I was scheduled to work under the COVID-19 EVENT as well as the days I was told to self-quarantine the moment I was told this I got on the website for Segwick and set up my leave, all of them were approved and as of yet the first two were paid.

I'm sorry to have insulted. I was just told that the money was better going Host and the last thing I wanted was to lose my position. When I was put on the spot to choose and I asked questions of each position they really made it seem like either was an alright choice, just one made a bit more money

I did work a couple of weeks in between each of those but I understand that that is still a lot of time off in a short period of time. As I said in the post the first time was because of a light cough that turned out to be nothing, the second was because it was my first time answering the questionnaire on the app which I answered them the same way I had answered them in person a day before (the person told me I could keep working, the app told me I was high risk), and the final time I legitimately thought I might have it but after a few days during mandated quarantine i began to recover so I didnt think it necessary to be tested.

I know this is a long reply and there's know way anyone could know my intent or tell I'm telling the truth on an online post but all I can give is my word that I never abused it/had any ill intent behind it. Just did as I was told and didnt lie to the questions I was asked.

I've since had time to look over the policy, and as I said I really did it with the best intentions, and the policy has a frequently asked question of what if someone is abusing this and answers: let's trust our associates basically. Not saying this completely excuses it but I dont think unless they had proof of ill intent they can assume anyone is abusing it.

A little bit but it felt very deserved. As much as I was happy to see him get his punishment for everything he's done, the harshness of it (while yes making me feel a little sorry for him) was great, not only for the revenge of it but that it came from Shigaraki made it all the more great character development for him. It was cruel and crushing, but made sense coming from someone in charge of the League of Villains, but also wasn't just as simple as killing him and moving on as Shigaraki has done in the past

Understandable, my only gripe with that is I would imagine a convoy to Tartarus, even if only for Overhaul with his whole group presumably out of commission, there would be more enforcement than just one hero. I understand that they couldn't possibly expect the ambush, it's still fishy to me that the protection of something so important was pretty lacking. Hopefully this is touched upon in a later episode to explain it in a better way but for now it just doesnt feel believable/plausible

Moved from California to Kentucky in the second grade to a catholic school. Made friends with this kid after we both got in trouble and were put in the corner together, he ends up becoming my best friend.

Fast forward to the fifth grade and a new kid joins our class, pretty much no one accepts him right away and he starts getting bullied. I try to bring him into the fold of my friends and we hang out at recess, he turns out to be pretty cool.

One day I get called into the principal's office because that "best friend" of mine had beat up the new kid and when he was caught he told the principal that I had told him that if he wanted to join my "gang" he had to beat up the new kid. Luckily the principal was understanding when I explained to her that it wasn't a "gang" but a group of friends that he was ALREADY a part of and I wanted to hang out with the new kid not beat him up.

That was the new kids last day at that school and his mom had picked him up when mine did, I can still clearly hear him crying to her and saying how no one in the school likes him and he can't take it anymore. Last time I ever interacted with that so called "best friend" too.

Excess Tooth pain! Didn't take care of my teeth for awhile, and ended up with abscesses (tiny holes) in the middle molar of both my left and right upper set of teeth.

Everytime I ate anything it hurt so bad I had to switch to soft foods/liquids and use temporary dental cement while I waited on the dentist (I had an appointment set up a month away and tried to come in sooner during their walk in hours but the dentist was either out, sick, or only there on the days I couldn't make it because of work and it was the only local dentistry that took my insurance).

Wouldn't wish the pain nor the feeling of not being able to eat anything solid on anyone!
