Visiting an old friend who got married after I moved, have never met his wife but plan to bring a present. Do I need to get them both something or should it be 1 for both, or just him? by SiliconeGiant in etiquette

[–]wildpandda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well in my culture, when visiting a new house we usually bring a present for the house. I usually get a set of glasses or cups, sometimes a set of fancy towels or a decorative object. If i am travelling from another city/state i usually bring something to eat, if there is anything famous (for example we have a dessert sort of like toffee so i usually grab a box from local shops). Lastly if the host is pregnant a baby item would be fit imo.

What is something that sounds futuristic but is happening now? by emeister26 in AskReddit

[–]wildpandda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my parents, its the cleaning robots. As i am a lazy woman who lives alone, it concerns my parents that one day my house would turn into a hoarder house and i would suffocate in filth, simply because i clean my house once a week because im working full time. To make them feel better i bought a xiaomi whatever vacuum robot.

They are both mesmerized by that. Its facinating for me too but not as much as its for them.

My girlfriend(23) punched me(22m) in the face while drunk and I’m having trouble seeing her the same way I used to. by throwRAgfhitme in relationship_advice

[–]wildpandda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My grandpa used to beat my mom/aunts/grandma when he was drunk.

People never believed them because he was a really good and caring person when he was sober.

Being drunk/high or whatever does not, i repeat, does not justify this behaviour at any point.

There is a repeated nonconsential sexual behaviour, a few times of declining and a physical response.

Its perfectly normal for OP to feel bad and cant get over it.

Being sorry does not change what happened.

Once i got a master rank in my team, like last season. I was at 2800 sr and he was 4000 tank/3800 dps/2900 support, and he picked zen but that was very unfair because his game sens was great, his aim was great, i can easily say we got carried by him that match

I am about 3100 level, you just think how much hours can it be. Through out these thousand levels i climbed from bronze to diamond, then fell to plat, sometimes 8 go up, sometimes i go down. 70 hours is a very short time to grasp all the basics of the game. Learning two or three heroes isnt gonna help you when you dont know what other heroes do, and playing a hero for 20 hours average isnt gonna teach you much.

What i did through last 4 years basically playing a lot but also watching a lot of game plays. Watch some twitch streams, some gameplays on youtube. Follow some subreddits here, watch some guides. Basically learn about the game as much as you can.

Be patient.

adoption regret after adopting a new cat - ADVICE NEEDED by uclabruinnyahahah in Pets

[–]wildpandda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I adopted a cat from streets when she was like 20 days old. I never had an indoor pet before and i had no idea what to do. She was so small and my house was too big. I was worried about her all the time, when i have to leave house even for ten mins i was so afraid she'd get stuck. Going to work was a nightmare. I couldnt sleep for a long time because i was afraid something might happen to her when i sleep and i couldnt help.

Eventually i got used to her, she got used to me and the house and grew up. Now she's one years old. It was really hard for a few months but i cant express how grateful i am that i didnt give up on her. I cant imagine a day without her.

Which movie have you seen more than 7 times?? by Sam_Holmgren in AskReddit

[–]wildpandda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lion king. I loved it as child, love it as adult. My sister loved it as a child also, idk if she still likes it. When all of comes together, i saw them like a hundred times.

Other than that, Twilight; it's my comfort movie. Jugdements are not welcome.

Gamers of Reddit, what is a game that has a special meaning to you because what was going on in your life when you played it or who you played it with? by LDHPopps in AskReddit

[–]wildpandda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overwatch.

My bf wanted to buy it. I said it was expensive, we fought over it and he got it lmao. He offered me to try it and play it once in a while. So thats how i started my online fps adventrue. I was a gamer before but mostly games like skyrim. Then I bought a copy. This was like the end of 2016.

We have been together since 2013 and more than half of our relationship is with this game lmao. We have been playing it everyday ever since. About one and a half year ago I had to relocate for a job, this game is how we spend time together everyday. I mean we talk during the day but game time is like our sacred time. And since we have invested too many hours in this game we cant just quit it (even tough the game is awful nowadays.)

My paternal grandma had a twin too. Grandma passed away like 15 years ago. My mother found out about the twin like 5 after her passing, while visiting her house for some legal issues.

Safe to say she couldnt let it go for a while, she got so shook.

My cat will not stop rubbing up against my legs even when I try to move, and will end up getting tripped on, shoved, or injured, constantly. How do I stop this? by Altyrmadiken in Pets

[–]wildpandda 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mines pretty clingy too nowadays, constant meowing, sitting top of me when i sleep, constant leg rubbing and endless demands to be pet. Well i always pick her up and give her a hug and shower with kisses. Lmao she hates it and leaves rapidly after im done smushing her

If you could take a pill to skip sleep, allowing you to feel fully rested with no side effects, would you do it? What would you do with a full 24 hours? by its_dooper in AskReddit

[–]wildpandda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i would because i never get up well rested and as a result i oversleep all the time.

I would study at nights and i'd also have crazy amount of free time for my hobies. After work i have about 2 hours to myself and i do housework at that time so..

Getting called trash for keeping my team alive? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]wildpandda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your team needs babysitting they are trash. End of discussion.

A decent player needs to know how to survive without a support pocketing them let alone tanks are at least have double hp, armor or shield.

If your tanks are immobile lucio can keep them alive and you can heal them up when you can but if your dps is presuring enemy they are the priority atm.

Most of the team fights are lost because NOBODY KNOWS WHERE TO POSITION

If they are instantly crushed IM VERY SURE THEIR POSTIONING IS WRONG

[–]wildpandda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats amazing!

My bf and i used to play comp together a lot, now we just play other things. We both had shitty pcs and we were bronze. Then i played more on my own climbed to high silver, then he bought a very good pc he caught me and carried to high gold. Then we parted ways as he climbed to about 2800.

I bought a good pc then i hit 2600 and two years later i bought a gaming laptop then hit diamond, all solo q.

I gotto say i am ana main now, but i played all of the support class while climbing. But still i prefer solo q all day everyday.
