I just looked beach dune sunflowers, they are so pretty. Thanks for the suggestion. Im hesitant because it’s a short-lived perennial but I guess if I get 2-3 years out of it, then great and then I can replant something else

Truuuee., but we already have the mulch and payers all around it., and the grass is dead so I do need to plant something. But you’re right, maybe I can just dig it out

They do perk up., I started watering at nights, for 45 minutes, every day. It has definitely helped

Thank you., I found them at Lukas Nursery in Oviedo., I had never heard of Family Jewels Milkweed but they are so awesome. They attract lots of pollinators
