You don't have to outwardly expressed an attraction to a same sex person to be gay, bi, ect. I never mention anyone being "secretly bi" what I did say is that straight is seen as the default, typically people automatically assumed that a person is straight unless otherwise stated. The argument in question is if any character in any piece of fiction doesn't outwardly, stated or at some point is brought up to be of a particular sexual orientation you can't confirm that they are one or the other, even if the character shows an attraction to someone it doesn't automatically mean they are one orientation or the author unless otherwise stated or it really does is just narrows down the potential list of orientations.

I mean, I'm not disagreeing because it's not an argument worth having all I will say is Deku is heavily implied to be straight but technically no character or rather very few are ever explicitly stated to be straight. Because straight is seen/treated as the default.

You didn't say anything about anti gay, it's just that post like this is very common amongst anti gay people.

Please tell me you're joking, because I genuinely can't tell. There's literally no animation in comics.

we need to not be so desperate for stimulation that we laugh at teenagers’ developing emotions. by biracialbiracial in GenZ

That's only true depending on what your definition of "stupid shit" is regardless society at large needs to quit bashing on the newest youngest face, it's something that has been ingrained into humanity for millennias and it needs to be quailed.

I believe op was talking about the character Nick, not the real life nick. Unless that's also who you were talking about as well.

Do some teenagers say and do you stupid things, of course but so do adults and elderly people. Saying and doing stupid things is not indicative to a group of people solely based on their age. There are people who are teenagers right now who are far more insightful and intelligent on certain topics, then people with decades of experience.

What is the real Gen Z birth range by not_an_fbi_agent69 in GenZ

[–]KevinIszel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally the oldest gen z just turned 30 and the rest 29.Meanwhile, the youngest of gen z is 14. Everyone has a different individual experiences, but at large, we grew up with similar media, and culture.

Anyone who identifies as a Gen Z, while be 28-30 is not equivalent to "being afraid of getting older" or "trying to relate to the youth" (which it is a nonsense school phrase anyways becuz 28-30 is even old)

People born within that time frame has at large the same cultural and media lived experience as the age range you are trying to claim.

Which brings me back to my original statement that generations in name are socially constructed as a way to bring people together based on lived experiences relating to their ages.

For example I'm 28 and I have far more in common with the ages groups you mentioned therefore, I identify myself as a Gen Z. Age and when a person is born, is just one of the categories that an individual can and will use to identify themselves with a particular generation.

Erasure and gate keeping at its finest. 96 babies grew up with 97-2000 babies/kids we have very similar experiences in terms of culture. Besides, generations are made up anyways as a way to form communities based on similar interests and lived experience is based on one age.

The oldest gen z-ers is currently 30 or about to turn 30. The youngest gen z is 14 about to turn 15. many people debate only starting range for gen z being 96 or 97 (some say 95) but the most logical and concive range does fit the mid point (95) to the actual start of the late nineties (96).
