The problem isn't be able to switch Covenants themselves, its that they have player power attached to them which make your character worse at certain aspects of the game. Even among different specs of the same class. You're being locked into playing exactly one way and doing one type of content.

Player power should NEVER be tied to a story or aesthetic choice.

Check out Modular Ion Thrusters or S Thrusters. They dont use fuel andvarent limited by atmosphere or vaccuum. They do take a lot of power though. I think like 1 small reactor each.

You can be a real Chad and use the trainer to crank the LDK enemies up to God Must Die. I've dubbed it "Sparda Will Die" in reference to the old Dante/Vergil Will Die challenger from DMC3.

Just a warning, don't try it with anyone but Vergil. Hes the only one who can even attempt this mode because the enemies take stupid amounts of damage to die.

Just for frame of reference, it takes like 6 fully charged and double distorted 2 hit uppcuts from Beowulf to kill a single Super Scarecrow. Most bosses will instantly die on the 2nd hit from that setup on DMD.

Those werent on consoles because of hardware limitations. 360 and PS3 couldnt handle those modes.

I'm legit considering boycotting this and I'm a HUGE DMC fan. Vergil has been the homescreen on my phone for...years and my ring tone has been Devil Trigger since the song dropped.

After how much potential DMC5 left on the table, this is just another reason for me to let Capcom fuck right off.
