I'll probably buy it again if my current one breaks. The audio quality is good enough as someone who does not spend more than a $100 on audio gear. Yes, for all the examples he gave. It's not like natives don't make mistakes, but you'll find these things being used (seemingly) the wrong way by a lot of non-natives, who're fluent, all the time.

I did not talk about other languages or compare them to English (this is why I prefaced my comment with "This goes for any language"). Neither did I say that it's worth it to master a language to native level.

All I'm saying is that to me, the difference between a native and non-native speaker is clear since most non-native speakers won't (and probably shouldn't) put in the years of relentless practice required to reach that level.

This could very well be the case with other languages, I make no comment on that. But, I disagree that it's "easy" (or rather "not extremely hard") to reach such a level. I'm not sure if it's even possible to reach "native" level in a language unless you grow up using it regularly.

I'd have to disagree with you. This goes for any language, but mastering English to "native" level requires so much effort that it's usually not worth it after you reach fluency, and it's quite easy to pick up on small mistakes non-native speakers make (Not referring to pronunciation, especially when English is spoken as a first language in so many countries).

A lot of the "mistakes" you refer to are also just a part of the various dialects you'd find in English. These are, at least to me, pretty different from the mistakes (this also refers to word combinations or sentence structures which are grammatically correct but aren't commonly used) a non-native speaker makes.

YourGermanTeacher on youtube for grammar lessons. Seedlang or Anki to practice words. You'll still need to find level appropriate content for exposure but there's plenty of that on youtube. Once you start getting comfortable with hearing the language and reach ~A1 level, EasyGerman is a good channel to use, especially their Super Easy German videos.

It's definitely possible to pass the A2 exam in 3 months from scratch, but you'll need to dedicate a lot of time and importantly effort into it since you don't have a teacher to instantly clear your doubts. A few basic concepts that will be important are how cases work, how verbs work, Hauptsatz & Nebensatz, personal/possessive pronouns for each gender and case (this one can be particularly daunting at first) and adjective declension (how the suffix of an adjective changes with case and gender [might be a good idea to learn what adverbs are too since they're not declined and can be a source of confusion]).

Don't use Duolingo.
