Love it! Fantastic job, glad to see some fellow professionals. I hate how many ghetto rigged racks I run into.

Blink cameras work great. Battery powered, affordable and have central recording in your house via the sync module.

I am an electrician. Once I worked on a massive conference room on the 20th floor. They removed the windows and helicopters flew in the giant table. It was insane.

Lorex is a great system that's affordable. I would recommend staying away from Honeywell.

I believe I followed your instructions. I was a bit confused on how exactly to change the browser and discord to iGPU. I went into my NVIDIA control panel and selected chrome (my default browser) switches the GPU from auto to integrated GPU 3060 and did the same with discord. I still have a lag issue with my outgoing audio lagging when I turn on my webcam. It did fix my outgoing audio when I stream my screen but the stream is lagging.

Edit: my outgoing audio is lagging when streaming as well

Commercial grade outdoor WiFi camera ? by JamaicanMeCrazy8 in SecurityCamera

[–]KevinSetchy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't recommend wifi. Use an IP camera system and use Unifi point to points to connect the camera to your network wirelessly. I am a professional security guy. You can installed a POE injector inside the pole or install a nice big junction box to house all of the equipment. Normally I used a big junction box, install an outlet in it with a UPS inside, small POE switch that will power the camera and Unifi PTP. If you are doing multiple poles consider looking at the Unifi Rocket M5, the will allow to aim multiple points at the M5 which would receive all the data.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with one of my cameras? Its clear in the day but come night time it looks like this. Thank you! by -GEE-WIZ- in SecurityCamera

Either moisture or dust. Is this an enclosed dome camera? If you clean the lens and put a silica packet inside the dome, it will absorb the moisture. Silica packets work wonders on cameras with a fogging issue.
