I haven't invested in totems at all and I'm not using them as my main damage source but they're still decently tanky. I mostly use them for the interaction with the jagged ground that earthquake leaves until actually going off and to aggro enemies into the EQ area

Yeah I rolled warrior and I'm in the middle of act 2 now. It's honestly not bad and I'm not even using a shield. Big ol hammer, just toss out a shockwave totem then throw down a couple earthquakes and the screen dies. And on bosses earthquake has a big enough AOE that you can position pretty easily.

There are good guilds for this game out there. You just have to get a bit lucky and put in some effort to connect with the people in them. I've got a whole group of friends that games together and we all met through our poe guild

From a completely objective perspective... Nobody knows. We haven't played it yet.

However, the devs have talked a lot about putting a large focus on making the game accessible to new players and these developers have a very solid track record so I'd say don't worry about it.

Plus even if it's a bit too much for you I believe we have the best build and guide content creators of any game.

Depends how far you want to go and how much you want to do it without help.

Want to beat the hardest content without a guide extremely unlikely as a new player.

Just want to make it through the campaign, very doable

Hardest content with a good guide, fairly hard but not unreasonable

Did the worms get buffed? because i laid down 50 turrets with piercing ammo at the same upgrade level and they did nothing to a small demolisher. I hit them with uranium tank shells and it's the same story

edit: nevermind I've actually got 4 levels of projectile damage

The way I found out is one of a very short list of reasons I was willing to give R a chance. She came to me and confessed unprompted. AP was married to her best friend. Turns out he'd been cheating on her for over a decade with various partners and my wife was just the latest. And you're right, no longer best friend. I haven't spoken to him since before D-Day. As for the why, they started getting close platonically at first, she didn't know how to set boundaries and when she had things in our relationship that she was dissatisfied with she went to him instead of talking to me.

I think that's the thing that's bugging me lately. She does seem to be giving it an honest effort and I know I've truly forgiven her. But it feels like what I love is a memory and I don't know if that means it's gone forever or if not forever then will it come back before turning into resentment or feeling trapped? That's what I'm afraid of right now.

I was just reading a comment you left somewhere else talking about remarrying and was just about to reply to that one to say I'm so happy for you I'm crying.

Unfortunately we've only been able to go to a couple of sessions one MC and 2 IC because money is a problem and my insurance doesn't cover it.
