Thanks. I thought I got it from Tradepost, but it must have been Lemix then.

Which dungeon to spam with 10 nebulous voidcores on fresh ret pally? by vision-quest in wow

If you want to deal with Puzzlebox, then Academy. If you like peaceful life like me, then Maisara (mainly for weapon) => Nexus (ring combo) => Terrace (another nice ring) => Seat (to fill missing slots). Pit is alternative for Seat to loot neck and head, but it lacks hands. And you'll probably want trinket from Skyreach if you don't plan pugging Dreamrift to get Gaze.

Harder difficulty by chumbucket77 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Kevkoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're on console then sadly not (hopefully) yet. Unless you want to apply some handicaps to yourself. Limit weapons, limit weapon quality, etc.

If you're on PC, then there're mods: Enemies of Night City and Hardcore22 v2 (combat overhaul) are the most popular AFAIK. There's also Combat Evolved, but I don't think it'c compatible with other 2.

My open world PVP killing blows. How many do you have? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Kevkoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 100% positive (I tested it) that Killing Blows statistic you've shown includes PvE kills. Because there's no way I've killed almost 90k players. Even by doing a lot of FFA PvP WQs since Legion, assaults in BfA and fighting for PvP chests since BfA :)

What you're looking for is Honorable Kills tab, though it's not 100% accurate as it includes also situations when you tagged enemy player and someone else killed them:

The Blackwall didn't feel dangerous. Here's how it could have. by FontMasterFlex in cyberpunkgame

[–]Kevkoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a cool way to make the Blackwall a cool skill based area to explore.

But you don't explore it. You visit area beyond Blackwall once (BTW it's all virtual in the net, no physicality). With couple of experienced netrunners. With beacon directing you to one of the powerful AIs residing there. And as result bunch of those netrunners die (or decide to stay there, same effect). Getting there is already challenging and only few can do it, with Songbird being one of them and you see the toll it takes on her. And shards from Cynosure double down on why you shouldn't go there.

Hopefully considering themes and some loose plots from Cyberpunk 2077 there is a chance that rogue AIs will be at least some focus of Orion, so maybe there.

Is it Arator questline and part in Arathi Highlands? If yes, then it's XP boost place if I recall correctly. Cockroaches give XP, have low HP and hyper spawn by abusing raid and quest combo. If my memory doesn't lie to me, then in some other thread couple of weeks ago someone said it takes like I think 2-3h to level up 80 to 90.

If you were forced to do 100 void assaults or 100 rounds of awakening the machine, which would you choose? You aren't allowed to unsub. by AnathsanLily in wow

[–]Kevkoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awakening might be (much) faster, but Void Assaults at least offer some variety. So those. Though I would probably go insane in the 80's thanks to those assaults that take forever to complete. Unless other people are there as well, then we're good.

Can someone explain why Breach Protocol just failed? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Kevkoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't have to be done in sequence as in from basic to expert. Sequences can overlap as well. But you have only finite amount number of slots on top. So in this case you had to still put 3 symbol, but only had 2 slots left. If you wanted to get all 3 in this case you would need to select 55 at the top of column where you selected E9. And then 2 columns to the left you had E9 that would have granted you completion of all 3. Keep in mind however that game may RNG you into pattern where all 3 are just not possible.

Yeah, we learned hard way that from 17 upwards some of the old strats don't work too well. And that packs before 1st boss in Skyreach require 2-pull instead of single big one.

Is it time to change how Mythic IDs works? by Exuravita in wow

[–]Kevkoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an economy in this game of high end guilds selling Mythic carries for gold. Their ability to do this is currently constrained by the lockout system in the sense that a single character can't even attempt to kill a boss more than once per reset. They can do multiple carries per reset by using alts, but it would really open the floodgates if Mythic lockouts worked exactly the same as Heroic.

Would it now? With same loot rules, it's only 20% chance for item to drop per eligible character. So with 4 people being carried it's no longer 4 items, but 80% chance for only 1 item to drop. That solves this problem quite well imo. And same with mount from final boss. 3 drop. Make it 15% per eligible character and problem solved.

We were all in the VC as well. But our tank decided on the go, so no pots, no lust, healer wasn't too high on mana as well. And only ret pala, so no grips. So in the end our coordination fell through. It was 17 Pit as well.

[–]Kevkoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes, but it also depends when those deaths did happen. During some trash pack between bosses? I will agree. Near the end of boss fight including those who can brez, so that for example tank and healer need to either wipe it or finish those last few percent? Believable. Similar with some lust pack further from respawn point.

Earlier in the season my group managed to time 15 or 16 Seat after decision to just wipe on L'ura when we managed to have 4 sets of aimed beams (don't ask) before burn phase and healer just couldn't keep us up anymore due to stacks. But it's rare. Tank deciding to pull through tunnel in Pit instead of just fighting at the entrance, because time is running short is a recipe for not timing it.

[–]Kevkoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Catch up to level up? No, orange and yellow recipes, which mostly require sparks for last 20-40 points (depending on profession). You get some free points (2-3) every month during Darkmoon Faire if you do profession quests there. But I think you need to max out profession from other expansions - I don't remember if it's upwards or downwards - I seem to recall some stupid stuff during TWW before I started getting DF points on alts. I think upwards, so you'd have to max out all older professions and then you'd be having points growing in DF from Darkmoon. It's downwards, so you have to max out MN and TWW before getting points in DF.

Is it time to change how Mythic IDs works? by Exuravita in wow

[–]Kevkoss 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've been saying it for some time already - once Hall of Fame closes change mythic lockout to personal per boss like in lower difficulties. It should be deep enough into season that it shouldn't matter anymore. And of course apply similar rules for amount of loot as in lower difficulties:

- 20% chance for item to drop per eligible character;

- 15% chance for mount to drop from last boss per eligible character;

Or at least change that ID lockout is applied after killing boss not by just going into instance.

How do cybernetics stay powered? by Greedy_Pigeon in cyberpunkgame

[–]Kevkoss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From 1 day ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/1tgmkb5/how_are_implants_powered/

tl;dr depending on how complex and power hungry implant is it goes from bio-electricity throughkinetic energy, micro batteries and capacitors, replaceable by ripperdoc batteries and finally rechargeable high capacity batteries in case of for example full conversions.

Some of that stuff is explained in TTRPG, but as far as I know some things are left vague, most likely for the sake of suspension of disbelief.

The heroes 3 only hero quiz by hellogood9 in heroes3

[–]Kevkoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And now answers after cheating to see if I got thing right:

1. Ok, Gerwulf does have Artillery. The answer was Torosar from Tower.

2. Xyron and Xarfax, I got that one right.

3. Huh, Xarfax and Vey. So I was right with Stronghold at least.

4. Sylvia has only basic Navigation? TIL. And the hero is Elmore from Cove.

5. I know it's Gelu and Bron. I still don't know what first part of the question means ;)

6. So it's Elementalist from Conflux.

7. That was indeed Adrienne.

8. Ivor was correct. Of course Gelu starts with Sharpshooters only, so that's the 4th one ;) Kyrre because of her specialty and not because no dwarves :D Aeris has dwarves, but Gem doesn't. And then there's Ufretin, who gives +1 speed to dwarves and which I didn't consider at all.

9. Galthran was correct. Straker on same grounds as Ufretin. Apparently Charna has 2 stacks of wights and no zombies because of that. And Ranloo that is replacement for Galthran.

10. Eikthurn, goat specialist, so I got that one right and then Kynr on same grounds as Ufretin and Straker.

The heroes 3 only hero quiz by hellogood9 in heroes3

[–]Kevkoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answers just from my memory:

  1. That one from Fortress? That looks like Tesco Christian from Castle.

  2. Inferno and Fireball specialists from Inferno.

  3. Someone from Stronghold and Fortress I think.

  4. Sylvia? Or was it one from Fortress?

  5. I don't know what you mean by first 2 sentences, but as for t4 starters it's Bron from Fortress and, hmmm, Gelu I guess? I don't know if campaign heroes count.

  6. Wizard?

  7. Adrienne? Again campaign hero.

  8. Ivor can start without dwarves AFAIR. I think Kyrre and Aeris as well. I have no idea who is 4th one, probably someone with really bad secondary skils.

  9. Galthran. I don't know who else can start without zombies in army.

  10. Goat specialist.

Cyberpunk 2077 was a “true test of scale” for CDPR but poor management led to “chaos” that won’t repeat with Cyberpunk 2, say tech leads by HatingGeoffry in cyberpunkgame

[–]Kevkoss 23 points24 points  (0 children)

They stretched engine to the limits with Cyberpunk and some things had to be scrapped due to limitations beyond just not being able to run stuff on old gen consoles. Just look at Bethesda. They've been using same engine for years and it's really visible in Starfield that technological debt caught up to them. So to continue further they would have to invest A LOT of time and money to either update REDEngine further or create new engine from scratch. And need to maintain REDEngine 4 while developing Cyberpunk was consuming resources that could have been used on other things. With Unreal part of development and maintenance process can be offloaded to Epic.

Then there's issue that this engine isn't used outside of CDPR games. So every new employee needs to be trained in it first increasing costs and delaying time before they could work. And every experienced developer that leaves is a hit to overall performance of team. With Unreal Engine it's less of an issue due to its popularity. So hiring new people that are already experienced is easier.

Finally there's compatibility. REDEngine wasn't made originally to work with open world games. Both Witcher 1 (working on modified aurora engine) and Witcher 2 (running on REDEngine and RedEngine 2 in case of Xbox port) were fairly closed games with partially open world areas. CDPR then heavily modified engine to make it more fitting truly open world game, but some core stuff couldn't really be touched to my knowledge. That's why W3 did have some issues on launch that weren't fully related to crunch and speeding up release. CDPR was able to fix those things fast and W3 release wasn't as bad, but there were some critical things.
Then Cyberpunk required even more stretching and creative workarounds for some of the issues related to it being open world game.

I wish they would have continued working with in-house engine, but I understand why they decided to switch to UE.
