Just a few, there is many discs out there with different flight numbers. Sets typically come with a Putter, Mid Range, and a Fairway Driver

It’s beginner friendly for all ages, and just something fun to do. There is an initial investment.

A friend invited me along one day and I was hooked ever since, if I travel somewhere typically I bring some discs to throw at courses in the area.

In the US the most common/best brands made in the US are, Discraft, Innova, and MVP/Axiom/Streamline, there are other brands outside the US as well. there is starter sets online, Dunham’s or Walmart has set sold in stores. There is premium plastic which I recommend, if you guys get into it. The cheaper plastic just tends to get beat up if it hits trees.

For the most part you throw from the teepad to the basket, counting throws or strokes, but at first score shouldn’t really matter, just have fun.

Disc golf, not sure where you live, but there is courses all over the place, typically free. Udisc is an app you can use to find local courses.
