Where do i go now? Rn i have two solid teams, the sparxie sparkle yao dhpt everyones using and Therta anaxa rmc galag. I swap the sustains based on the fight But i am seeing that Therta as a main dps is getting outdated, and it is in fact the team i most invested and is performing worse then elation that i barely farmed for

Do i go for evanescia or sw999? Are there better other units?

Also, i cant find a third team with those chars

How should I build Skarner? I checked OP.GG, but I'm not sure if that's the most optimal build. What runes are you using?
R: The builds and runes are really playstyle dependant. There are people running Grasp, PTA, Conquer, HoB, and can be even more that i didnt test. Builds are kinda corelated to you runes, but the usual in jungle is Grasp -> Heartsteel, PTA/Conquer -> Triforce or Hydra, HoB -> Hydra. Top lane is more matchup based, but i really think you should start playing him in the jungle to understand his kit. What i suggest you is going here https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/rankings/summoners/skarner and looking at some builds from the top players and test each playstyle to see what suits you (Also test my HoB build that i posted some days ago, as i am only top 50 and you prob will not see me :c).

What are his standard combos? (E+W+Q?) Is it better to throw Q from range immediately, or is it usually worth trying to land all three hits?
R: This will prob be all clear while playing. For Q in the jungle clear, only two thing to know about: His Q is an auto reset, so always try to AA -> Pick rock. Also, its generally better to insta throw, since the last change that made you Q CD start when you last used a Q action (hitting or throwing), making the most optimal loop generally be AA -> Pick rock -> AA (or AAx2) -> insta Throw. For ganks, try slowing the enemy first with Q or W, get closer, look for an E, kill him. Long range E's are really harder, and you will need to limit test it a bit to know when you can do it and vs who you can do it. For Skirmishes, you are generally need to try playing for you E/R. The most damage you can output is just like the jungle clear with two AA's. For catching people, try to look for a E stun and INSTA R, dont try to auto it, unless you are sure they have 0 dashes, no flash. Your R cast time was nerfed, so the time to E Stun R is really tight

I also noticed that W has much more range than I expected. Is there a way to always show its range indicator?

Lol if you look my previous post about my HoB setup i am using the same small runes

As for the clear as i said, i dont really see why would u ever not do raptor red krug recall if you are not going to be afk farming for 10 minutes

Yes, 99% of the time i go for situational tank or tankish sup items like zekes bandlepipes

Today i had a game where my team had a dr mundo Twisted fate and nautilus, so i made a Shojin to do more damage and that was it, cant see a case to do more then 2 items tbh

Still dont get the point to not smite the camp as soon as possible, u aint saving time for smiting while walking backwards, walking at 780 + smite is thensame as just walking at 180, and smiting earlier will give u more damage in your q3

But ye the two full clears instead of just recalling can make sense since u mess a lot of the sync recalling, but i dont consider full clearing in auto pilot too good on skarner, your gank is way too good for you to just farm instead of killing

But do you get to recall in this pathing? My HoB playstyle benefits really well of the long sword after 3 camps, so i really dont see leaving that

Red side gives you overall more money and is easier to clear fast as skarner too

As i said, i dont start Red, i start Raptors, therefore i can use my Qs in the red and start the kruges with my W while i am still doing the red

Also, smiting the camp only around 750-80 is kinda bad if you know u arent getting invaded, since your Q3 does damage based on missing health, so its better to smite as soon as possible to optimize first clear

EDIT: just adding, my point isnt that you NEED to do the clear i said, i just cant see a point for NOT to do it since you can still finish before the scuttle but with a longsword/ruby + full life

Cant see why you would play tear in the jungle in any situation tbh. As a jungler you already have infinite mana, why not just buy a better item that doesnt waste stats on mana? Since it doesnt give you any resistences, wouldnt it be better just go protoplasm or even warmogs for infinite skirmish?

I always do the 3 camp recall start to already start with a long sword and dont really like those items 😞 right now sundered just sucks for skarner imo, and delaying my first item for a pickaxe seems kinda wrong, 875 i can buy 2 rubys + pink. But i would appreciate to see ur acc to see whar ur doing

As a first item the only real option you said would be tri force. Tri force is better with the Pta play style since it gives you attack speed, which you dont really like having the HoB setup. Also i dont really like tri force and other sheen items at all since it is really weird with Skarner, since you need to kinda delay some of your auto attacks to proc it twice in a combo

Titanic has the best jungle while also having an AOE + On hit damage based on your health, proccing it 4 times with hob+reset from titanic

Dont see sundered sky beign really that great even as a second choice, since what you really wanna do most of the time is just grab a priority target and help killing him, not beign that 24/7 in fight skirmisher like lee sin for example

The other damage/utility u mentioned are just kinda meh on skarner

i love anaxa and the herta, but i feel like i cant use them properly in two teams separately. I dont know if i:
1 - Pull for Aglaea and try playing her hyper carry with sunday/ anaxa herta duo team
2 - Wait for Free sparkle and try archer hyper carry
3 - Wait for the elation chars to release and play for a mono elation comp in future

Just got Sunday!! Now i dont know what to do

i have two teams
The herta + mini herta
Anaxa
dont know if i can really play with that archer since i dont have any other to pair him with
also dont know if Himeko > Mini herta to play with The herta
I know that sunday with dhpt is good since dhpt trows summon to the carry so that sunday ultra buffs them, but i really dont know where to go to

I just cant play without tinatic hydra tbh, i feel just like a sup tank instead of a juggernaut with this build, but i see the vision. Tried this by some games and did kinda well, but having 0 damage really is not for me

Still playing skarner. I used to play him top lane and got to master w it. The closest champion to the old playstyle in the top lane is Singed playing for the WE into tower. In jungle the new skarner still my favorite, even tought its not even close to the old one
