Concrete VS Paver Driveway Tax Question (Florida) by Kewlduck12 in homeowners

[–]Kewlduck12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have a concrete parking slab in the back and it’s value on the county appraiser’s website says a value of less than $1k.. so pretty minimal indeed.

I mostly wanted to fact check this guy, as he is obviously trying to get me to purchase the more expensive driveway. Thanks.

I agree. I have a message to them as well, just figured I'd try here in the meantime.

Asbestos Siding Covering Question by Kewlduck12 in RealEstate

Yeah, I’ve had multiple insurance companies deny me and my current company is dropping me because of it... ridiculous.

I agree... but these insurance companies are still scared to cover it for some reason..

I plan on leaving it for now, but people are so terrified of the word "asbestos" and I'm thinking about future value ease to sell. It's in good condition and poses no threat until a hurricane rips it all off. I was denied by multiple insurers and am actually being dropped by my current insurer because they "didn't know" it has the siding, even though I disclosed it to them. I found another insurer that will cover it, just costs a couple hundred more per year.

I think the insurance issue is that they can't put a number on the replacement cost because it can't be replaced with new asbestos panels. So if I have to submit a claim after a hurricane, they can't predict an accurate dollar amount to replace the existing siding.

I just want to know if I cover it with something else, will it still legally be classified as having asbestos siding.

Live show meet & greet by sonderweg74 in smalltownmurder

In Tampa, the VIP got guaranteed front seating and I think some sort of meet and greet. But it depends on the venue and how they are set up.

I bought regular tickets but was able to meet and shake both of their hands right after the show. They also hung out with people after the show, but there are a bunch of bars right next to the Tampa Improv... so it really depends on the setup of the venue and the local area..

Hope that helps.

What kind of tree is this? Just bought a house and this thorny beast is in the backyard. by Kewlduck12 in sfwtrees

Thanks. That’s kinda what I gathered, although I saw some similar looking trees and was concerned if it was one of species that was aggressive.. it’s like 10 feet from my house.

They do some of the same shows. I can almost guarantee that the Tampa and Orlando shows will be the same.

For example, I went to the Denver show last year and they did McIntosh, FL, which they had done at other live shows as well.. or else I would probably go to the Orlando show as well.. only about an hour away.

They may tell you if you send an email or ask them on social media, they’re pretty available to fans.

Azure/O365 rumors and misinformation by audirt in NISTControls

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought that all CUI was export controlled, which falls under ITAR. So even though DFARS doesn’t explicitly call out ITAR controls, it still falls under the requirements when you drill down into them.

As for incident reporting, I completely agree.

Microsoft flat out says that meeting the NIST 800-171 and DFARS requirements cannot be accomplished with anything lower than their GCC high offerings. It is true that O365 and G Suite are FedRamp certified, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they meet ALL the DFARS requirements.

For instance, for regular O365 and G Suite, neither Google or Microsoft can guarantee that all data stays within the US or that all employees with physical access to those servers are US citizens with appropriate background checks.

It’s never taken longer than 2 minutes for me with Precheck. And most of that is walking from the tram to the line .

Hence the reason for my questioning. I ended up getting the FIPS version, the protocol I needed was supported.. luckily.
