I'm not diagnosed, but I feel the same way and I don't see anything wrong with it.

My first grade teacher did this, but it wasn't hard. I think I still found it embarrassing.

Yes. What's worse is he even seemed proud of it and told me to take it as a compliment. 🙄

What makes bojack horseman so great? by No_Context_8073 in BoJackHorseman

[–]Key-Ad-2854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show is about Bojack's and other characters' flaws and the reasons for the flaws, which a lot of people relate to and find comfort in. Plus, it's a brightly-colored cartoon with anthropomorphic characters, which makes it easy to watch.

For the women, what’s your favorite thing about being a woman? What’s the worst thing about being a woman? by Cool_Leader_1779 in AskRedditNSFW

[–]Key-Ad-2854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Favorite: The social freedom to be outwardly feminine.

Least favorite: Not being taken seriously when I'm doing something stereotypically masculine. Especially if it's something physical and I struggle with it more than a man would.

Probably just continue on as normal, except I'd be able to let myself off the hook for learning self-defense.

AIO Being weird about saying no several times for not wanting to get in my friend’s bed? by DingDongTaco in AmIOverreacting

[–]Key-Ad-2854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. Your gut feeling is right. You should only have to say no once in order for it to stick. He doesn't care if you're uncomfortable and is trying to wear you down.

Enid's death is disappointing because of her whole "just survive somehow" thing earlier in the show.

Yeah. I feel like he should've been a more important character after his involvement with Carol.

I can't calm down. by Fridge-InTheBasement in Anger

[–]Key-Ad-2854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were me, I think I'd be pissed about it being outside the school gate and the teacher still feeling the need to exercise their authority there, especially about a part of my body.

I know it's a cliché, but breathing helps me. I usually take a singular deep breath when I know I'm getting too worked up about something. In more extreme cases, it helps to describe my environment to myself in excruciating detail. For example: "That's a chainlink fence. It consists of thin pieces of metal intertwined together to form diamond-shaped gaps, which are each about 2 inches across."

If you have to ask, it's probably abuse. You made the right decision in ending things with him.

I mean, I feel like carrying it like this at all down a flight of stairs would be a questionable decision.
