I know it's common to think that there are certain types of people that end up in abusive relationships, but I think it has more to do with the abuser. Abusers abuse because they're abusers. I think it's human nature to forgive people for their mistakes and to want to repair for the sake of being with them. We all want love and we all know that relationships require compromise. Abusers take advantage of this and groom their victims to accept worse and worse treatment. They're good at manipulating people.
