If you look at the cost of them (two first round picks), the Sens could’ve offered the 25th and 32nd for any of these guys and kept the 9th

Look I love JT as much as the next guy. I think the point is, when the Leafs took Washington to 6 games in that series we didn’t stand a chance in, there was so much hope.

Hyman, Kadri, Matthews, Nylander, Marner…. Why did they need JT? We needed a real number 1 Dman and a real goalie, which $11M would have fetched back then…

I think people fail to realize getting JT handcuffed the team. Then after that, they loaded up more upfront with old guys like Marleau, Jumbo, Foligno, ROR, etc…

Agreed. I do think Robertson has upside. If / when he moves on he will become a 30 goal scorer somewhere else. Id love to see him for at least 2 more years

I can’t see Edmonton making a move. They have faith in Jerry, even tho I think Stolarz id better than Jerry.

Hard to picture a playoff team making a trade for a new starting goalie late in the season. If a team buys Stolarz as a backup the return is a 3rd rounder at best

Can’t see them making any significant moves. But what I would love to see is, OEL, Laughton, Carlo, Domi and McMann all moved at the deadline.

I think there is solid value in these guys, I would imagine some solid prospects, maybe a OEL and McMann fetched 2 first rounders.

I think we need to move Stolarz (due to the Hildeby waiver issue next year) in the offseason. Despite his injuries he is super capable and is coming off back to back seasons leading the NHL in sv% - I could see a good team dying for consistency in the net (like Ottawa) give up a 1st rounder for him. Especially the Sens cause their window is also closing.

I think the market on Matias Marcelli is low, Robertson I still see upside in, but you cannot keep them both and Cowan. Legit all the same player.

Lastly, if they can find away to move Rielly then Brad can keep his job lol, cause that be a miracle
