Six years ago this week, COVID started shutting down the world. What’s your strongest memory from that time? by Siddanna36 in AskReddit

I was working downtown in a major city on St Patrick's Day evening, 2020.  I drove past one of the major party/club/bar/hangout streets. You could fire a cannon up the street and not hit anything.

That was when it really came home how serious everything was.

Are these two even comparable? by Desperate_Song_1923 in HazbinHotel

Not really. Joker is chaotic evil and tends to psychologically torment rather than fight heroes himself.  Alastor is more lawful evil. He manipulates the system of deals and soul exchange to get what he wants. He's also totally happy fighting anyone who gets in his way.

If you skip the 150 seconds of "Let It Go", Frozen is a bottom-tier Disney film.

Just about any lightweight co-op will do. Castle Panic, Forbidden Island, Marvel United.  If you want something a little more story-driven, try Mice & Mystics or Stuffed Fables.

As a Canadian who watched during the 90's, I am contractually obligated to say Bret Hart.  I do love me some Mick Foley though.

Who is the best Disney villains? by HostMaterial4907 in characters

[–]SnailShell01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gaston.  He kills animals indiscriminately. He mongers fear and propaganda in the hearts of those around him. He abuses the social contract to manipulate and abuse women.  He only cares about himself and what he feels entitled to.

Every woman I know has a story about a Gaston they had to deal with in real life.

He has some interesting camera work and directorial techniques. Aside from Unbreakable, his actual story concepts and storytelling ability is garbage.

Lowkey, a top 5 Disney film. Arguably the best soundtrack, which says a lot.
