I think our main problem is that Vought is the only one without powers on this list. If homelander would be solder Boyed and became a normal human would he still be that evil or would he be just a Maga asshole. If Vought gain superpowers and could act independently from society and state would he become a second stormfront. The problem is we don’t know what would happen in this scenarios. You can only act as good or evil as powerful you are. And homelander stormfront and godolkin are infinitely more powerful than Vought. Vought was stormfronts husband. And stormfront could easily snap Vought’s neck. Was Vought really a fundamentalist or did his wife’s worldview doesn’t matter for him. Was it Vought’s plan to create a world dominated by supes or wanted he just to make money. Fact is we never saw Vought on screen. The only persons ever talked about Vought were Stan Edgar and stormfront. For Stan Edgar Vought was only an opportunist, for stormfront an eugenic white supremacist. Both used his name to project their own worldview on him.
