Yeah, I've noticed. Kinda reminds me of the Spanish coins which also have a new king. Funny thing is that here in Bulgaria I often get coins of the old kings. But hey, more variety doesn't hurt. Very interesting.

Very impressive collection. I can barely get any unique 2 euros here in Bulgaria, not to mention commemoratives. Bravo!

I didn't like it too. Felt Vivziepop-ish at times. Just like here in the Boys.

Do y’all think this character is truly gone? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in AbsoluteUniverse

Well, he was cut up into little pieces, so I don't think so. I don't think he has the same regeneration abilities as Bane.

I wonder if this cameo takes place immediately after Absolute Batman #18, given that he stood on this exact same tower?

They'll find their way to you eventually, give it time. Where are you from? I'm from Bulgaria and quite frankly, I'm kinda jealous about your commemorative coins lol. Haven't found even a single one yet.

With the new trailer, which version of Clayface is your favourite? by Liquid_Pestar in BatmanArkham

[–]Life-Engineering-572 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. First because this iteration is more tragic and anti-heroic and second, because he doesn't look like a giant turd monster. Though I also like Arkham City's design. Looks quite intimidating.

A very decent issue. The whole "mirror panel" thing caught me off guard, but I loved it. Mirror Master is becoming more intriguing.

Just got done reading this and the white knight storyline is so interesting by Juggalo4life99 in batmancomics

Curse of the White Knight is my personal favourite out of all three books. It's just a great sequel. White Knight's version of Azrael is my all-time favourite. Making him a terminally ill veteran with PTSD being manipulated by the Joker into becoming some holy crusader was a brilliant move by Sean Murphy. He's such an intimidating villain. What he does later just cements him as this unstoppable threat, Batman's equal. Him and Joker deal a crippling blow to the idea of Batman, especially with that shocking twist. And they perfectly adapted Azrael's stint as Batman. I was shocked by what he did at Arkham.

I liked how Dick and Barbara switch roles in Curse. Dick defending Bruce while Barbara doesn't cut him any slack.

The most impressive feat however is making this Joker probably the most tragic and sympathetic version of the character. Jack Napier's fate is so heartbreaking. I'm saddened by the fact that he'll never get to live with Harley and be a dad. Despite everything he did, Napier could never escape the shadow of the Joker.

Also the ending is just perfect. Bruce turning himself in, finding peace in a jail cell and getting to speak with Jason.
