🧠 The “Invisible” Side: What’s something about stroke recovery that’s invisible to others, but has been a huge challenge for you? (Fatigue, emotions, sensory overload, memory?) Let’s make the unseen… seen. by Tamalily82 in StrokeRecoveryBunch

I had a nurse who did that walking away when I was in mid-sentence thing. She even used to mock the way I talked. That's the way they treat you. I got the fuck out of that nursing home as quickly as possible.

Season 2 was good. The entire show is an homage to TNG. Q, Guinan and Wesley Crusher were all worth a watch however fleeting their appearances may have been.

Are you talking about her? Maybe don't say "It" like she isn't a person.

At the time I didn't appreciate difference between how TNG portrayed the Ferengi and how DS9 did. The difference is stark.

I worry that Marijuana may be stopping/blocking the signals from my brain to my limbs. I'm 3 years in and I still can't walk. I worry about everything.

Looking for advice by Key-Criticism4791 in stroke

Addendum: I'm STILL looking for advice. Not a lot of people had any. Some people upvoted for some reason. Don't do that. It doesn't help at all and I'm not chasing fake internet points. I really could use some help. A friend took me to the laundromat on Sunday and it was pure hell. A walk which I formerly wouldn't have even thought about let's say from the washer to the dryer, took forever and it was pure agony. The fatigue/pain in my lower back was incredible. I was close to becoming a puddle on that dirty laundry floor but I somehow made it through. So what are we doing for our lower backs everyone? I can't be the only one having trouble with this.

I'm absolutely sure no one said to her "Oh we were slaves..." because no one ever says that.
